Our world and our Church needs more men like Fulton Sheen
Sure does there is alot great Catholics but something has happened to the leadership of the Catholic church.The pope seems to think he is God changing the 10 commandments for climate change.Also behind 1 World Reglion were Muslims Catholics Christians in the same church.He says we all believe in 1 God but the Muslims have different views about Jesus Christ they believe he is a profhet not God.And it wouldn't work .And Muslims pray 5 times a day would that happen if all in same church .They have there own Places of worship and respect there right to there Faith .like we should be allowed do the same 💯❤️🙏

The much older Hindu Vedas had a holy trinity.Called the trimurti, it was Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer, three individual deities that are also a single deity.
He was so prophetic. I work with a suicide helpline and I can fully confirm that suicides are still on the rise. In the last decade, even more so the rise is dramatic. The more people live for themselves, without regard for morals, the worse it is getting.

I watch these clips and remember watching him in our living room, and being so proud of being a catholic just like him.

Pope Paul VI, Pope Saint John Paul II, and Pope Benedict XVI all three publicly proclaim the greatest sin of our age is man has lost the sense of sin!
In fact most people have souls so dead to Grace they don't even know they have a soul.
The greatest reason men have lost the sense of sin is the sad fact that Catholic priests no longer do their God given duty to preach against sin from the pulpit. If your parish priest does not preach against sin from the pulpit then he is in the state of mortal sin. The blind leading the blind into the pit of Hell. Please Pray, Pray, Pray for priests !!!

Canonize him right now. Right now. Just him talking about how the Devil defends your sin, only to fill you up with regret after you've gone and done it, and leading to such despair as going the path of Judas, made me cry because I have been there. Dealing with such habitual sin that you can only look at that rope, that high overpass, that gun, longingly.. I've been there, and it SUCKS. Turning back to Christ and living my life one day at a time is beyond hard, but I know that I need it. Thank you God for Vn. Fulton Sheen.

Yes. It is important we do not identify with our sins and turn to Jesus Christ as our Savior and repent. Once forgiven, it is up to us to respond. Name your sins and ask for grace to turn away from them. The Holy Spirit will strengthen you.

I'm Orthodox. But I'm a Christian first. Fulton was shared to me by a very incredible Christian and Friend. He is Catholic. And he shared this very video with me, also.
I've been sick lately, currently being treated for a condition. During this time I didn't focus on my faith enough. Despite giving thanks to the Lord, and feeling his presence on occasion.
Im starting to feel better, and I will resume practicing my faith, and partaking of the sacraments.

1 - nowhere in Scripture is there any support for prayers to any but our Creator.
2 - aside from Moses, Enoch and Elijah, you have no idea who is in Heaven - and do you pray to them?
3 - Christ ALONE is our Intercessor - 1 Tim 2:5
4 - _'Queen of Heaven'_ is used in Scripture - look it up - it's not at all a good thing!
5 - Mary, like us, was a sinner who is now dead.

There was a moment yesterday after i took the body of christ. An overwhelming emotion, an overwhelming yearning to get to Jesus again as a child wishes to run to his father! I was in tears because I sin too easily and I wish to run to him yet do not know the way 😢😢😢
All we need to do is to ask our lord into our hearts, and he is there filling up our cups to overflowing. The Lord says seek, and you shall find. I was, once lost in the darkness of the world until I asked our lord for his help, and he rushed into me like a warm summer breeze filling me with his loving light. Amen

Confession is the way! We must receive Our Lord in a State of Grace or else we are heaping more sin on ourselves.
That overwhelming emotion was our dear Lord’s grace to draw you even closer to Him! He’s telling you that you are His! Completely trust in His love and mercy for you! Close your eyes when you need to or want to and with your thoughts, place yourself in His loving arms, tell Him you are sorry for failing to love Him as you want to and ask Him for the grace to love Him with your whole heart! Tell Him that He is the Spouse of your heart and soul! Ask Him to consume you with the fire of His divine love that you may never offend Him again! And then let yourself feel His immense love for you in His fatherly arms!... Use the sacraments as often as you can and completely trust in His love and mercy for you! Ask our Blessed Mother to wrap you in her loving arms and intercede for you. He knows what is in your heart and loves you more than you can ever imagine!... know that you are a beloved child of the King of kings and the Queen of queens! He died for you and would do it over and over again for you! Your real home is in heaven with our heavenly brothers and sisters waiting for you to come home! And interceding for you! Thank our Lord often, especially with the most intimate time of receiving Him in Holy Communion! And thank our Blessed Mother too, along with your guardian angel and your brothers and sisters in heaven for interceding for you... And even when you are down and don’t feel it, smile! And remind yourself of all these things! The devil wants you to be down and feel that you are not worthy of our dear Savior’s love. And use the sacraments that our Lord gave us frequently! If you can, adore our Lord face to Face in Adoration... During this whole time spent with Him, He is pouring down grace upon grace on you, drawing you closer and closer to Him! Many people have no idea how powerful this special time is spent with Him! He purifies you more and more! If they knew, they would come and never want to leave!... I highly recommend that you get the book, ‘In Sinu Jesu’! It’s a wonderful book for priests but He’s speaking to us, the laity too! It’s my very favorite book other than theBible, and I find it very comforting and desiring more and more to love Him! The beginning is a bit dry but that doesn’t last too long. It’s on our Lord talking to a Benedictan monk to get him to started on making an order of priests that is for the sole purpose of adoring Him in perpetual Adoration for the conversion of all priests hearts. The messages are incredible! This book would also make the best gift for a priest, but also anyone who wants to draw even closer to our Savior. God bless you!! And don’t forget to smile! Our family in heaven is waiting for the day you come home!... 🤗

Nice music. I'd rather be able to listen to the speaker, however. There are approximately 20% of Americans who suffer from a hearing loss called tinnitus, that is, ringing in the ears. For us, it is very difficult to pick one voice out of background sound, whether that is other people also speaking, music, traffic, machinery, or other noise. We don't mind background music in videos, when the music is a lower volume than the speaker, but videos like this one are just plain dumb. What's your goal: to play a song? ... or ... have us hear the speaker. When they are both the same volume, your goal is a toss up. Turn the damn music down!

According to scripture, sin is actually not an act. Sin is unbelieve and acts are mere attributes of unbelieve.
The catholic creed is clever to use acts as sins and therefore making followers trying to 'work' themselves into salvation and heaven through good works.
"The just shall be saved by faith".
Fine words.....but "greatest Christian speeches of all time". I can't go along with that. His diction is poor and there's no pace to his address. I found the music obtrusive but that's not the fault of Fulton Sheen.
