- Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

The three teen/pre-teen boys out and about in the, what -- 12 foot aluminum skiff with the 50 hp Merc -- probably had better water sense than most of the dudes in their high-powered glossy fiberglass sleds.
A 12 footer with the 50 horse and you’re flying
but no life jackets parents should be arrested
@@kurkgarro2341Sinking is more like it. Rated for a 10 hP ;
9:39 no life jackets for the passengers on a jetski
Thank you. I wasn't sure what the issue was there.
3:51 absolute worst hull design I've ever seen on a small boat. Every single one of these always stuff themselves.
not the wrong design, the wrong use. The boat is built for lakes and rivers with a wave height of max. 1 foot. Buy the right boat and not the cheapest one
@@berndlamprecht5341and even on lakes, those things aren't designed for 9 ppl on board either😂
Still crap design.
I cannot believe the stupidity of some of these boaters with too many people on board.
Those little bow riders are just big water scoopers
Many of them are rentals.
I often wonder what purpose some of these boats were designed for, apart from being money pits.
Another amazing video. The high shot at the end was great. Thank you guys.
Quick everyone up to the bow
I like the aircraft shots. That was cool.
The guy in the Skater was out for the first time based on that engine trim and speed.
my dream would be to have a Midnight Express on Lake Texoma.
Does anyone know what the trim switches do??
and getting your passengers aft- so the bilge pumps can bail the water and the bow can stay up
4:35 he doesn't know what trim is.
Haulover inlet has eaten up some boats! How are you going to be in a little lake boat used mainly for skiing and be overloaded with passengers expect to come back safely.
I remember pantara boats
Do you know some facts about that manufacturer?
Not much, they began next to Cigarette and Formula and Magnum in Miami's Thunder Row, but went bankrupt. A company in North Carolina (I think NC) bought everything (molds to tech and plans) and set up shop there last year producing old and new bigger sizes. @ne
@BoatZone
...a rich history and tradition reaching into N. Miami Bchs. (now Aventura's) Thunderboat Row).
There were a lot of caveats involved in Pantera's diminished capacity, including disillusionment in powerboats and a very distressed attendant market, personal finance reduction in high end disposable income for performance boats, anemic sales within Pantera and the generic boating community, COVID-19, the City of Aventura, and yada, yada, yada...
What is the deal with people stuffing tiny boats full of so many people that its standing room only? Its not safe but more importantly, it can't be any fun standing like a bunch of sardines on a tiny boat for 4 hours.
I learned a long time ago that I don't want to be on any boat in Florida which doesn't have aircon. Too hot and humid otherwise.
maybe because the more money you have, the less friends you have
2:02 look where he is staring at. :)))
Did they really just pull a refrigerator out of the water!?
looked like some type of deck box.
Was that Lenny Kravitz? 😉
Are there no maritime safety regulations in Florida?
Still like at least twin big blocks
EXCELLENT !
What was the cop telling the Jet Skiers at 9:29?
No way to know. The jet skiers are from Miami Dade Fire Rescue Lifeguard
@@BoatZone It appeared he wasn't happy at their situation? Were they violating some water safety regulation?
he was holding up two fingers
where are your life jackets for the passengers
Did the passengers have life jackets on?
That boat at 4 mins looks so wrong for this type of water, not enuf room in back to get the weight of the people back there, to get the bow up. They tried. Funny how the little boats have lots of people aboard and the big boats have very few people. These vids are interesting.
those mti s look like the statement
Too much coke not enough boat
I love the aerial view at the end of the video 👍🏼 “o”and the girl in the red bikini 👙
8:17 what is that near the centerline and waterline of the boat ?
You mean the three relief cuts? They allow turbulence (air bubbles) to "lubricate" between the hull and water for more speed. The hull sticks to the water without them and "frees up" with them. That teck came about around the mid eighties I think, but took a while to get more mainstream in the last ten years.
@bailey9r thanks for your reply. The object I am asking about is black, circular, and closer to the bow than the relief cuts.

Bow thruster?
@@RudyF6 bow thruster is my best guess, but it seems perhaps too small to be a bow thruster.
👍👍👍
Hi! Thanks for watching
