Actually, it’s pretty much all countries. You can lease, even build and own the home but not the land. South of the border, you can lease/own but unless you have citizenship, the government can take the property wo reason. We are easy pickings.

Agricultural lands need to be protected and regenerated the world over. Protecting andxregenerating agricultural lands ensures the future of humanity and the whole earth. Agricultural land needs to be owned locally ( personal and communal ownerships), they need to be properly managed to stay agricultural, and they need to be managed in a way that supports people and the environment (soil health, regeneration,. .....).
Balance of trade. If America fails to sell more abroad than it buys from abroad then one of three things happen. 1. People stop buying foreign stuff 2. America's currency starts to drop and drop in value 3. Foreigners use their extra dollars to buy American capital. So be glad they are buying it rather than dumping your dollar into the bin
