I just discovered your channel because I was interested in learning more about Talking Head videos...great content. Thank you so much, can't wait to watch more!
’ve been making talking head videos for a while now, but your tips have given me a whole new perspective. The call-and-response idea is something I’ve never considered before and I’m excited to try it out. Subscribed and eager for more of your wisdom!
This was super helpful and exactly what I was looking for when I searched on YT! Only thing I would also request is some "best practices" for when is the right time to do some of these visual or sound effects. For example, every 20-30 secs you should switch things up with a zoom in....
Good call. What apps are people using to put those visually appearing captions over their reels? I use TikTok but it doesn’t seem to have the same effect as the popular shorts/reels I am seeing out there.
@@Riversidefm doesn’t seem to be what I am looking for. I need the captions over the video of the podcast, not just audio. Unless I am missing something 🤔
You can record and edit in Riverside! Just share your screen while you record or add video files to the media board, and we'll put it together in the editor with what you're sharing large on screen and your video in Picture in Picture.
TH-cam, Facebook, Linkedin, IG (with stream key) Twitch. I even reached out to Riverside twice to verify. Each time, for live streaming they only stream @ 720 max. Now recordings go up to 4k I believe. Now another option would be to livestream 720, then re-upload to the platforms after in higher resolution, however, why would I do that, when streamyard already does 1080p...Thanks! @@Riversidefm
It can be news broadcasts, social media videos, and many other sources. But we should have mentioned to always credit and link to the source of videos in the description for sure!

Appreciate that, glad we could help!
If possible, I’d like to see a tutorial on how you transition to split screen and show text. Great content!
Thanks! I actually have a video showing my entire video production process here! th-cam.com/video/t8Y2kMPUFfg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dgYVlCmc8Xl86X0M
tha'ts a jump cut with an instant fade of the text, I think they're using the rule of thirds to position him

You're welcome! That's a good question, I would say a change in the visual or audio at least every 10 seconds to hold viewer retention

There are some options like headliner.app out there…but keep your eyes on Riverside too 👀

adding music will help to!
For sure!
What free software can I use to have both the video and my face on screen?

unfortunately Riverside only livestreams at 720p, not full hd 1080p.
To what platform are you live streaming?

I won't look at any platform that doesn't live stream in at least 1080p. A large difference is video quality. :)@@Riversidefm
Was this video edited using Riverside's editor or something else?
Editing in Final Cut Pro!
Okay. thanks. That's beyond my paygrade.@@Riversidefm
And yet. You don't disappoint to waste my time.😂😂😂
Well let us know what questions you have and we'd love to help another way!
Your first piece of advice is to intercut with stolen clips of someone else’s video _and_ audio? Seriously? Er, no thanks.

Couldn't watch this after 30 secs.. it's boring
Sorry to hear that.
