Bus ride on board one of LFS baby Gilligs, bus #0511 on route 29, so we're riding in the city of Hialeah FL folks, ah yeah!. This is ex Madison County Transit bus 3017, a 2010 Gillig BRT29 G27E102N2. There's a couple of them in some routes, but not sure how many they actually got. So far, I've seen these buses currently running, 0505, 0508, 0511, 0512, 0517, 0518. A tremendous improvement over the smaller E 450 cutaways. Personally I still like their Freightliners cutaways, their Glaval Apollos and odd looking smaller buses on the Ford F-550 chassis, they're something different, ugly and cute at the same time, they kind of remind me of a truck/ school bus type, activity shuttle bus all mix together.
