Super glad I found this! I got tired of replacing my jaebos so I just bought one of these but the instructions make no sense. I just wish you explained a little more about the settings for example I have no idea what wave mode does what and have no idea why there is a feeding frequency when you have a feed button! Great video!
If you click on the product link on my video description, there is an Amazon link to the Hygger Mini Wavemaker. There you will find a diagram that explains the settings in full detail including the wave settings. Hope this helps and thanks for the feedback!
Hi, this is Lorna from Hygger Aquatic Equipment, I have been following your youtube for a long time, your videos are very good and fit well with our brand, we would like to test our new products with you and look forward to hearing from you.
How do you save each one of the time settings. I want them all at X 1 2 8 So I want 1 1 2 8; 2 1 2 8; 3 1 2 8; 4 1 2 8; 5 1 2 8. So what do I do to save each of the 5 settings? Is there any way to turn it off over night? Ie: have no 5 setting tidal flow time setting?
Once you set one of the time parameters, just move on to the next time. It automatically saves. There is no way to set it’s to turn off completely. I would suggest using a standard plug-in wall timer. Which should only cost a couple bucks. Most wave makers are not meant to be turned off completely.
Mine is still working great!! I can post another video on it. There is a failure rate to every device. Just like any power head. If you don’t clean it it will wear faster.
@@jb403 I love them! I now have two of them, the second one I bought just over a month ago. The first one I have now had for about six months. They both run excellent. It’s really nice to have different settings on such a inexpensive wave maker.
Just got mine earlier today and now I'm checking videos on how to set it up. Thank you.

Just let me know! I’ll give my honest review
Please make the mini less powerful!
@@apdroidgeek1737 so a mini mini? It's controllable though.
@@NinjaSushi2 its controllable upto a certain point, its minimum power is at 40%. I have this on my 5 gal and it’s blowing sand all over
Did you recommend this for a 10 gallons tank?
Absolutely! Definitely enough flow and very controllable for the size
i have it in a 15 and it is too much
What do you think is more important to spend money on? A nicer wavemaker or a nicer blue light? Only got soft corals.
Or is there another wavemaker you would recommend that does random flow?
I still use this Wavemaker! But I have a Radion XR15 Pro on my tank now. But I have a lot of sps now
I would look later into small black suction cups...
For what? I now have two of them, I have made no changes to them. The first one has been running for about six months now, runs excellent!
@@bigwavecoralsllp just a preference instead of the clear. it wouldnt stand out so much.
Diatoms and algae will cover the suction cups over time.

I thought I was having a stroke trying to understand the instructions it came with
I understood how to set the time but I don't understand the rest. You really didn't explain much.
Made plenty of sense to me. Watch again and pause on the settings part.
It will last less than a month

Based on what experience
@@Enorugger1 Who?
