Ooo, thanks! I got buttloads of experience by fighting the golem twice. The first one didn't give me any drops, because an enchant on my sword eats them, so I had to fight a 2nd one, with a different sword. So much XP, plus the REDACTED, which should be nice.
Ars has me feeling nostalgic about Thaumcraft, Psi, and Draconic. I really enjoy Ars as a magic mod, because of this. Ars has content for all tiers of play, and that is amazing. The versatility and customizability is a wonderful strength in this Mod. I really hope the Mod Author knows that they are doing an amazing job!

You know, I think I agree, it is a refreshing change of pace. While it's a little annoying occasionally seeing him do something in a really elaborate or inefficient way instead of using a tech mod, it is nice to see what these magic mods are truly capable of. So yeah, after seeing him use the same mods over and over again, yeah seeing him focus on a different set is interesting. I rarely use magic mods because tech is so much easier most of the time, especially when you want to automate stuff. Magic mods usually have a bunch of drawbacks trying to balance them, or there's often a large degree of tediousness and/or randomness sometimes. Many magic mods actually make themselves impossible to automate, even by themselves. At least Ars seems to have a decent amount of automation capability, and it's not as overly tedious as some other magic mods in the past have been to automate. Some of it's not as compact as a tech mod, but it's still pretty good. I've noticed magic mods are form over function, while tech mods tend to be function over form. I'm personally almost completely a function over form person as that's just how my brain is wired, but I do appreciate form even if I'm totally incapable of making something that looks really good personally. It's just if getting the good form is going to make things take much more time/effort and/or work significantly worse, I'll usually pick the easier option.

a better option is already in ars, its a belt of floating or something, you hold shift to apply a featherfall effect on yourself (for free) that + leap is how i traveled in ATMagic
a weird mechanic I found out yesterday trying to get a drygmy out of accidently placing it in a containment jar, if you hold an occultism soul gem in your right hand and then right click the containment jar the mob will be released from the jar. I haven't figured out any other way to get the mobs out of the jars. Also, you can put fish in the containment jars and get their drops in your mob farm.
theres a thread in ars that if you get it it grants elytra flight on the armor that does not use durability and combine that with a leap spell for easy traveling
according to the minecraft wiki, the corner bookshelves should work. maybe you could test that? (would be helpful to get more utility shelves in there)
There is no such thing as "Aqua infinity". The potions of water breathing (which Dire found) are the vanilla way. That or the conduit, but it's range is limited and Dire has probably never heard of it.
There are no fewer than 13 Ocean Monuments in that small ocean you flew over... Just fly NW or SE along that ocean. Also, Use the corners of the enchanting area

It can capture the wither yes, but a drygmy can't get stars from it since the star isn't part of the loot table. Vanilla is strange. It spawns the star after the death instead of being "dropped" by it
Hmm, can you put a wither in a wither-proof room and have the ars mobs(can't remember what they're called) get stars that way? Like he did with the mother silverfish in stoneblock? Well, that was a stasis chamber, but same principal.

You don't really need it. Just locate 1 end city and fly north or south and every 1000 there should be another. Just use the mini/full screen map to check around.
@@SummitSummit I have a wither and an ender dragon in jars and they do not give their on death items. You may be able to get some other drops from them if their loot table contains them though. I’m unsure on that part.

Hey dire, I don't know if you've seen my previous comments but I recently finished watching your stoneblock playthrough and I noticed that your infinite ingots did not get used up when you crafted your tablet.
You spend so much time on apotheosis enchanting, apotheosis has other stuff please don't make apotheosis a focus it's much more palatable as a passive mod, like botania or mechanism I barely see you work for 4 episodes to get a digital miner anymore, you usually have the stuff and just do it, I'm glad you went to the end and stuff but seriously just move on, maybe occultism or a new mod interest, maybe tech... Not that I'm not enjoying the magic, I've really been loving the magic, I'm jotting down ideas for my own magic mod but I lack the coding skills and some of my ideas are really surface level but everytime I see another magic mod it reminds me that there's more to magic and minecraft than boss battles and exploration
I don't mean to tear into you if it seemed like that, I just love your content and you made a comment about people getting bored with blood magic like they did integrated dynamics, I like those too but I don't have a computer at the moment so I'm watching purely for entertainment instead of learning, once I build my cheap pc I'll watch for learning and I'll be begging you for detail content but not for things like apotheosis, please don't hate me I love your content

I miss the old thaumcraft, with building super nodes by feeding them to each other.

since you got multiple elytras, I would suggest getiting the blueprint from silent gear so you can craft more elytras without losing anymore.

Getting the library from apotheosis can make it so you can enchant books and get rid of the need for enchanting armor
Library is STOOPID OP. I love it. This is the first pack I bothered to get the upgraded Library, though I don't really see any useful difference.

Tier three depths thread on ars armor gives water breathing. Simple to swap out when you want it.
Hey Dire you can use the corners for enchanting shelf’s with apoth so you got spots and you don’t have to remove your other shelves to make room.

To make the potion charms unbreakable requires the corner slots, so he might figure it out eventually.

shepherd's Pie is pretty easy to make and gives you great saturation, you just have to deal with bowls.
you can infuse the water breathing charm from Ars Nouveau in an enchanting table and make it unbreakable

You have four corners that can each hold two shelves! Please don't remove anything from your enchanting setup and just use the corners!!
Use elctra with ars to get flight use leap as your rockets there you go for flying
you can use ars spells when the book is in your offhand.
if u make ring of repair from gobber and warherbreathing charm from cyclic then it will last forever (the one what goes to charm slot)
Or just make the Gobber water breathing charm, shove it in a vanilla Ender chest, and never drown again.

Can Nature's Compass find end cities? I dont remember but I noticed it's in this pack.
Kind of… end cities spawn in end highlands so you can search for end highlands. They don’t spawn in every end highlands though.

You can jar bosses but the nether stars are an on death condition so you won’t get them.
All drops are on death. Have you confirmed you can't get Stars this way?
