Tough choice. I like both. I like the exterior of no cc but I like the interior of the cc one.
Love the CC house
I feel like some of the CC was too alpha for my taste, but it looked good in the end! Usually I try to blend in game and cc because I feel like that is how it looks the most natural.
Harrie is for sure an amazing CC creator.
I like the outside and the living room in the No Custom Content house (just like the colors more but love the art table in the cc) and the rest I prefer the CC especially the kitchen which I think looks super realistic
I’ve always been a CC hoarder, so my vote is for the CC house.
yes, cc is always 50/ 50 because it’s hard to get it off the gallery but also the cc creators are all so talented, hopefully the sims can add more cc to the pacts! love you syd
I love the cc one, I am a cc user myself as I only have a few packs plus there's so much more options with cc & you have better chances of having matching wood tones. But as for the exterior the maxis one is gonna win only cause there were more options. From what I've seen not a lot of cc creators do fencing but if you need fencing I know that Syboulette does fencing, definitely more alpha but if you blend with maxis you can still make it work.
Harrie & Ravasheen (who made the pegboards) are probably my two favorite CC creators! Loved seeing their objects in your build
I always prefer non CC myself, just because it looks so odd all of the time. Like you said, like the graphics of The Sims 3. I just cant unsee it! Lol
I always love showcasing CC because you can add so so much content to your game completely for free, which is really nice for people who can’t afford to keep with EA’s constant pack and expansion releases

CC is definitely my favourite! I am a CC Queen 👸 but I usually use a combination in my game 😊

I love the no cc house (and now i want to make eliza a kid and make parents for her in that house) and the outside and sun room definitely win, but the cc house is way too gorgeous!! that living room and kitchen area is just so fancy!
I love watching CC builds but non-CC ones I can actually download so... 😗 anyways I want pink child's bedroom from the CC build for myself lmao it's so fun! And Happy New Year Syd!!
I love both, but I gotta go with the CC one, as a CC lover who has so much CC that my game takes an EMBARRASINGLY long time to load 😅 but I can't help it! It's just too cute! Harrie and Felixandre are definitely faves of mine, as well as Peacemaker, who does super cute clutter items, build sets and actually has taken the EA coffee tables and sized them down! I can fill up an entire house with just stuff from Peacemaker! Then there's Mutske, who does build stuff like windows, doors and archways. MAX20, Tuds, CharlyPancakes. Incredible maxis match CC. And my favorite alpha cc creators are definitely SIMcredible, Severinka and SYB. SIMcredible actually converted the musical instruments from EA into pretty realistic ones, especially the guitars, and there are amps and wires as clutter and as a functional radio. And SYB created FUNCTIONAL SPIRAL STAIRCASES! You'll need the amazing Ravasheen's elevator mod, but they'll work. SYB also made a bathroom set in which the tub is sunken into the floor. I've been obsessed with making bathrooms lately, especially one with a platform and then just using the sunken in tub SYB made and placing cute candles and other clutter items around it 😍 ♡ went on for a bit! Sorry! I just love custom content so much! ♡♡

But when you do challenges I prefer without cc because I het more ideas of doing stuff in the sims when you don’t use it.

I liked the normal sims forniture in some rooms and CC in other rooms (example the bathroom). Love your contents Syd!

The bedrooms of the custom content house are adorable 💖, but I prefer the kitchen, the living room and the exterior of the no cc house.
I like the kitchen CC way more! It's so cute I love the pegboard that's such a nice idea but the rest of the CC I find too alpha for me I like more when it's maxis match but both house are very cute :D

you should do "every room is a different singer/band", i think that would be really fun and interesting!

also, i love your builds sm, you are my favourite sim builder, ily.
I prefer the non cc build purely because I feel like it was more cohesive in terms of textures and style, but both are great!
Athough most will automatically prefer cc, I don't in most builds. I've seen here on TH-cam some of THE most amazing builds, all done using only basegame and pack items. Its all in where, what, and how you place each item. You definitely need creativity and imagination to work with basegame. CC in my opinion, is easy. Everything is super detailed, and matches better, so it really doesnt take much effort to collaborate a room. Everything just falls into place as it should. But with basegame, you really gotta work to match up items astetically to make it look good. And it also creates a challenge in the game. CC is really good, but I'm going to prefer basegame items for the challenge it brings.

I don't ever use BB CC but I'm team CC for this one all the way! The only thing that's throwing me is the lighting/texture on that CC master bedroom bedding, its too alpha for my taste!

You should have a Number machine and what number it lands on you should only have that many items in a room

Uh, i thought of an challenge, idk if its fun or not but.. where you make a wheel with random colors, and then spin 2 times and ''mix'' the colors and use that color for one room, and do the same for all the other rooms? Idk if it makes sense. but for expamble blue + yellow = green

I love cc and tend to use alpha cc.
CC wins the interior 100%, especially in the master bedroom.
Regrettably I accidentally deleted my whole mods folder yesterday. Started downloading stuff and now my download folder takes a few seconds to load due to the amount of zip files and I barely started. Hopefully I will be able to remember and find the stuff I loved
