The next time you’re in a vehicle on the freeway, whether as a driver or as a passenger, look around you. Every other vehicle has someone else at the wheel. Each ride has a different destination, and a different reason they need to get there. You’ll probably never see any of them again. But for a few minutes or hours, you shared the same stretch of road. You’ll never know anything about them. They’ll never know anything about you. It’s a little bit like that. Just without the motor vehicles. I’m terrible at philosophy. But that’s how it makes sense to me. Yeah, you’re alone. Just like most other people. Different cars with different stories driving on the same freeway sometimes.
