Some of the nicest guy's I ever met was him and Greg' the Hammer' Valentine at a meet and greet, and Roy 'Honky Tonk Man in the late 90's, they were absolute legends ❤
Right as a kid was a crazy damn near killer then when I'm grown he's the biggest teddy bear I love it
I'm Jim's neighbor (who does NOT watch "Wrasslin") & we got off to a *rough* start when he was building this home.
*Every* single time they handed him a 2x4, the forest echoed with *"H'Ohhhhhh!!!".*
I didn't realize it wasn't directed at me but I do now.

Hacksaw is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time!! I grew up watching him. I was born in 1979 and hacksaw is a big part of my childhood memories of when I still believed they were really angry and fighting each other.
They were amazing actors and stuntmen!!

I'm 42 now. When I was a kid it was so cool to see hacksaw with the 2x4 and all that energy made him my favorite wrestler. Thanks for all the great memories.
This was a pleasure to see. We get bombared with some many negative shoot interviews and we hear many horror stories that it is nice to see Jim and his wife still together and enjoying each other. I also appreciate his "band" comment - everyone can't be the lead singer but what a ride it is to be apart of the band. God bless

Jim Duggan. Hometown hero of mine from Glens Falls New York! My favorite wrestler of all time! His dad was chief of police of Glens Falls at the same time my Uncle was Chief of Police of nearby Fort Edward. I’ve always felt a real hometown connection with the mighty Hacksaw Jim Duggan! Very nice homestead you got there! 👍🏻
Had the chance to meet Jim in Miami back in 2012. He was doing a book signing for his autobiography "Hacksaw" he was promoting at the time. He was very nice, humble and down to earth, he talked about his bouts with Andre The Giant and other wrestlers of that era. He was very sweet and lovable and it was very nice to have had the chance to meet him.
So glad jim is living his best life, this guy is the salt of the earth.

Hacksaw came to our town where we (BTW) Big Time Wrestling, were running a show and worked with us several years ago. It was a great pleasure to stand in the square circle face to face with my childhood idol. Thank you hacksaw for giving me the opportunity and the best pleasure.

He is such a kind man
Hacksaw has ALWAYS been golden. I’m from Albany, N.Y. and wrestled in the Intersectional Championships in Glens Falls, which is where he’s from. I remember watching him, at the Washington Avenue Armory, in the 70’s when he was called Moose Dugan! Those Were The Days!!!
Now that’s living! I’ve been on the same 36 acre “farm” since I was a baby and I wouldn’t move off of it for the biggest house in any suburb. I have more encounters with deer than I do people, and that’s just the way I like it. My wife is a city girl and she was skeptical about moving into the country when we got engaged, but I made a believer out of her. Her biggest hobbies went from shopping in the city to raising chickens and baking bread in a house in the woods. And I can tell my sons love it even more than I did growing up. They are outside every day riding quads, hunting, fishing, ice fishing, all kinds of sports and paintball guns with the friends. I swear we have 15 teenagers running around the property every weekend. I’m all for it. They stay out of trouble, off of the Facebook and that crap, and have countless hours of harmless and productive fun.
I'm so incredibly happy for you, Jim. Thank you for all that you've given the wrestling world and your fans. Wrestling loses far too many men & women at a far too young age, and they leave us having put their bodies on the line just to entertain us. So it's beautiful when we get to see a wrestler enjoying a well deserved retirement. Here's to many more years enjoying your hand built home with your wife, daughters and the fur & feather family!

Mr. Jim Duggan you where part of my childhood and you don’t even know it. Lol. I use to watch you in Louisville Kentucky at the Louisville Gardens. You where one of my favorite wrestlers. HACKSAW! He was my absolute favorite as a kid - that 2X4 and how he pumped his arms running to the ring and as he'd get ready to finish a match - I couldn't get enough of his energy!

What a great guy this man is. I stopped him one night on I-20 about 30 years ago while I was a State Trooper in S.C. I think he was speeding, not sure but didn't give him a ticket. Not knowing who he was, when he got out of this vehicle, I remember saying to him that if he was not a pro-wrestler that he waisted his life, he stuck out his hand and said that he was HackSaw Jim Duggan. We had a good laugh that night. What a great guy this man is. Glad he is now living in SC. Blessings Jim Duggan, we will meet again.

I had a pretty bad childhood. Watching WCW was nice though and whenever Hacksaw Jim Duggan was on the screen, i immediately was smiling and had fun. Which was rare. This man is a legend.

Duggan was my first favorite wrestler. First saw him once in the Dallas Sportatorium. but really started watching him regularly when he joined midsouth!
Jim did a cameo for me for my birthday and he was so kind and thoughtful I’ll never forget what he said to me about my best friend who passed away and my sister and my father he’s just a solid good person… ironically he has the same log cabin kit that my buddy just sold for 550 and moved out of Rhode Island lol
This warms my heart to see this. I began my journey with Hacksaw Duggan( outside of what I knew from Pro Wrestling Illusrated) in the UWF, where I also first heard Jim Ross. I watched him against Terry Gordy, Dr. Death and so many more. This was pre WWF, where everyone's moveset gets simplified.He was one of the pillars of that organization. I remembet, " tough guy" with the thumbs up and most timely, I definitely remember "Santa Saw". I also appreciate what this man put his body through for our entertainment. It's great to see him happy with all the most important things in life.
❤ happy to see him settled into a nice life in South Carolina, he was one of my favorite wrestlers from the Golden Era and live just a few miles north of me in Titusville, too bad we never ran into him. A genuine humble man.

All I can say is thank you. I’m 53 and watch more classic wrestling than current, today there is just something missing.
It's amazing to see him on TV like over 30 years ago, and now I sit here and watch his home and everything. It does not look like a luxury palace, but it looks very cosy and comfortable.

Man do I love some Hacksaw Jim Duggan. I been following him since before WWF time. I use to read about him and see pictures in PWI Magazine. Dude is such a legendary performer and has wrestled them all ! Underrated as FXCK! This guy has done it all. So cool to see him living great. Something about Hacksaw's voice just makes me smile & takes me back to my childhood.
I watched this man since the mid south days. I still remember the Monroe Civic Center events. I wish you and your family health and prosperity.
