My son let the battery die (don’t know what’s wrong with this generation) , must of tried to jump start. By the time I got involved he replaced the battery , engine would turn over but not run. Also everything else in car was not working (dash, locks, anything electrical) . Started by checking fuses found 4 mini and the 120a bad. Would never have guessed all the things to do just to replace that dam 120a including having to unbolt it. This video was straight to the point and saved me a lot of time and frustration. Only took about an hour and I’m pleased to say it started and everything is working properly. Thanks for your video it helped a lot. Five thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍

I had to do this repair on a Camry and it was an absolute pain. I made the mistake of trying to tighten an alternator bolt without first disconnecting the negative terminal, and shorted the alternator fuse out like your customer. You made it look much easier then the hours my dad and I had to spend figuring it out on the fly. Never again!

Sir, Thank you for making this video. I had to do this in a parking lot this evening when it was about 35 degrees. You'll want 10mm socket, a couple of thin (but long) screw drivers, and some needle nose pliers. I got my fuse at a local auto parts store (120A) for less than five bucks. I didn't pull the ECU out entirely, just loosened the bolt near the firewall and removed the arm on the fuse box. The zip ties and clips are the worst part of this. I tried to use a small box cutter but eventually removed the zip ties by grabbing and twisting with the pliers. Not covered here, but pull up on the square wire harness on the side of the fuse box (next to the ECU) once you remove that nut in the fuse box (you'll need to unclip the two relay bits). Also, I had to remove almost all large relays, take a picture before you remove any. Lastly, the original alternator fuse has closed loops for arms, hopefully next time (hopefully there is no next time) you can just swap it instead of pulling it all put. I'm 99% my blown fuse was due to a loose (neg) battery cable that was bouncing around and caused a short. In the end, it all went back together smoothly even though I destroyed some clips in the process. Good luck, you got this.

Yes this helped me out a ton. I had to rewire my LH abs speed sensor because one wire broke off inside the damn box. Awsome and thanks.
