The fact that a crowd of that size was able to reach that level of volume and clarity is HIGHLY impressive. These guys should be very proud of this following. Congrats.
+sugoruyo Hehe, I see what you did there :) Very true though... even us, newish followers. +Joe Jackson If this (also see "Valhalla" crowd response from same show) doesn't make a band immortal, I don't know what does.

This is incredible, first time i see this kind of connection between the artist and the crowd, this is really fantastic performance to witness. Crowd: Bard's Song! Bard's Song! Bard's Song! Bard's Song! Hansi Kürsch (vocalist) : You'll get what you ask for! (Guitarist begins to play melody of Bard's Song) Crowd: Instantly starts clapping rhythmically. Sings the rest of the song together. Perfectly.
I got to see Blind Guardian live in a small venue here and it was the best concert i've ever been to.m I wish they'd come back, or that I could afford to go see them in Europe.
Actually this is how it feel to be a god. When somebody chanting your words out of conscious. When the crowd come one and sing it as one man. Their own love and belive unite them. \m/ Thanks guardian!
In a world far away... now hear our song of the dawn of the night... Tomorrow will take us away... This song.. My god it just sometimes it makes me cry and sometimes it makes me stand up out of my chair and sing!
This is really something else. Like when you were kid or teen you dream about you are a rock star and this crowd is, they are just that crowd! You can't find them somewhere else...
Still the best recording to date. Crowd is on tempo, key, and more. Its awesome. The one from last year comes close, but this crowd....every band's dream
You haven't been at metal concert if you haven't been at Blind Guardian concert! It really is something different - trough the whole time nobody can tell who is singing to whom - the band or the croud.
I just stumbled across this band a little bit ago and gosh they rock. I haven't really listened to anything in this genre for a while. I think I can comfortably say that they just got a new fan. I look forward to hearing more of their music.
When the audience takes over your song...you know you've been immortalized
In none of the 4 BG shows I've been to, did the crowd let Hansi sing this on his own.
Lesser bands sing for the audience. Blind Guardian audiences sing for the band.
Must be russian, because in soviet russia crowd sing for you
Well damns...... One epic moment i would have wanted to be part of......
The November 2015 show in New York at Webster Hall started late, so they had to cut out Valhalla from the encore. Audience members sang the entire song as they were leaving the stage and clearing it.
This is the best fucking audience ever.
i thought the same (just discovered blind guardian). no other audience would rule such "complicated" melody.
I've saw them live back in September, and Hansi has such perfect control over the crowd. Hansi is god, I don't care what anyone else says.
and it´s not a one of time that the crowd is as good as this.
it´s like that like everytime the play this song live...
This should be renamed to "Blind Guardian ft. The crowd - The Bard's Song" fucking amazing
***** That's the secret. Blind Guardian *is* the crowd.
+Selur91 Maybe even "BG crowd ft. BG"
+Selur91 Wrong.. it should be renamed to ''The crowd ft. Blind Guardian - the Bard's song''
For those 162 tossers who don't know the lyrics:
Now You all know
The bards and their songs
When hours have gone by
I'll close my eyes
In a world far away
We may meet again
But now hear my song
About the dawn of the night
Let's sing the bards' song
Tomorrow will take us away
Far from home
Noone will ever know our names
But the bards' songs will remain
Tomorrow will take it away
The fear of today
It will be gone
Due to our magic songs
There's only one song
Left in my mind
Tales of a brave man
Who lived far from here
Now the bard songs are over
And it's time to leave
Noone should ask You for the name
Of the one
Who tells the story
Tomorrow will take us away
Far from home
Noone will ever know our names
But the bards' songs will remain
Tomorrow all will be known
And You're not alone
So don't be afraid
In the dark and cold
'Cause the bards' songs will remain
They all will remain
In my thoughts and in my dreams
They're always in my mind
These songs of hobbits, dwarves and men
And elves
Come close Your eyes
You can see them, too
Time to annoy my friends
Lol😂I don't think anyone who comes to this video should need this
It's time to rise again
Definitely googled lol

i am new to this band but the unity of this crowd singing so passionately under one voice gives me hope for mankind, special song
One of the greatest performances ever.
Well, I think they took it literally when he sang "Let's sing the Bard's song"

Imagine how dumb you must feel if you're in the audience and you dont know the lyrics XD
Well, if you go to a festival called "Blind Guardian Open Air" and don't know the bands signature song you deserve to feel a little left behind.
Keith Buys funny observation, it's exactly the same as one of these guys taking part in a lively Christian Church singing hymns!
Uhm... There people who dont know the Lyrics to the bards Song ? xD
Just read the lyrics on your smartphone...
No ... No please ! don't immolate me !!! Help !!
This was specifically festival for their fans, everyone there knew the song from heart.
One day I hope to get to Wacken when they play, so I can sing along!!!!
