My 5 year old has put over 11 days of game time into GWYF since January 2023. I innocently bought it on sale thinking he'd get bored as he's never been interested in gaming, but he's obsessed. He loves your videos and he'll be so excited to watch this tomorrow. He's already getting a few hole in ones on Peaceful Pines but this will help a lot. It's frustrating to spend more on a course than I paid for the full game, but he will repeat it hundreds of times so I guess it's not too hard to swallow... Thanks for all you do and the speed of getting these new videos out!
Thanks for your work on these under par guides. They must be tedious to locate the shots and some of them are so tricky. You've made 100% completion of Golf With Your Friends possible.
I think this is the course that's going to have me resign myself to no longer having 100% achievements in this game. I just don't want to keep being price gouged for more and more of my money while the devs keep giving us less and less :/ The course honestly looks really fun (and thank you as always for getting your guide up so fast!) but I just can't justify $9.
Rip. So 'whack' that you can't just play the course in a public lobby and get the achievements.. They really did a good job on the course, too. But just like we were saying on the other video. Hamstrung by the price. On some potential good news, they did say there would be some free updates coming. They were super vague about it. Hope they aren't twisting the narrative and it's just like.. fixing bugs/little QoL things, and a new hat. Oh well, thanks for still checking it out!
On hole 16 I found it’s pretty consistent to aim for the left side wall. Aim for the dark green square directly to the left of the rock that’s close to the wall. Aim for the bottom left corner of the square at 3 bars. If done correctly, the ball should bounce twice and roll through the opening in the corner of the rock formation and into the hole. I’m not sure if it’s better than the shot in the video but it usually works well for me
Good looking out. Found a full power consistent shot that is in my Perfect Round of the course. Aim at the crack in the rock, bounces you around and into the big bowl. Couple pixels wide. Super easy!
Speedy as always with the new guides so thanks on that, the new map looks great too! I’ve always kept 100% on the trophies for GWYF and have really enjoyed doing so but £8 is definitely steep. I wouldn’t mind doing this if it was the last DLC but the thing is I’m sure they’ll release more DLC at this new price and I’m just struggling to justifying buying multiple ones priced at this new point. Will end up costing me way too much just to keep a nice 100%. *sigh*
More people than I think keep up on 100%-ing this game. Huge shame that they keep that tied to continued purchases. Price has ruffled feathers. Hoping most people weren't like me. But like I said when they announced the price changes. I don't get a say, cause they got my money. :/ Thanks for checking my video out!
@@Ghostzapper Thank you for your answer, TrueAchievements is a Website where you can track your Xbox Achievements and look up how to do certain Achievements, for example in Golf with your Friends there is an Achievement for Getting par or better on Peaceful Pines on Classic. (Thats why i asked if it is ok with you as i didnt create the Video and i personally always ask before using Content that other people created) (I can't link a website in the comments on TH-cam it gets filtered)
I honestly have zero idea. Would recommend checking Steam Discussions or even joining the official Discord and asking. But I've never tried to use a controller for this game. Sorry!
Well I got the under par trophy pop, but it still says it's locked... so... I'm kinda panicking it's bugged out... either that the golf with friends server is slow and it's taking it's sweet time to register/sync properly on my trophy list? : ( EDIT: I had a friend take a look at my trophy from their end and after five/ten mins it did pop, but in total I waited and tried to bug-fix around for 45 mins till it unlocked... I even did the under par thing again. So yeah the good old trick of having a friend look up you're trophys worked. : D
I watch and appreciate your under-par videos, but there was a second guy that made videos too that I remember as the "just a smidge" guy. What happened to him and his videos?

Looking at the course from a level editing point of view, I wish I could make the water as seamless as that and the hills seem so natural.

Their goal is more paid DLC maps, but their roadmap did not have any on it. There is supposed to be a new game mode by the end of the year, though.
