Why does everything have to have auto-tune on it now? It's unmistakable even when the vocalist has good pitch, and the effect is used sparingly. It strips certain frequencies from the voice and turns it into just another synth plug-in. Leave it out, over dub your voice to give it thickness, do back up harmonies and that sort of thing. It will make it more interesting.
