I enjoyed KFP4, it was fun. It does have its problems like the Chameleon being a lackluster villain and no Furious Five involvement, but the action, comedy and animation was very good, and Jack Black’s cover of Baby One More Time is 🔥!

I honestly think that Chameleon could have won if she would have chose to either use Kai’s power to steal Po’s chi and turn him into a jade amulet, or chose not to hand Po back his staff and instead stole his kung fu.
Her downfall was her own pride and arrogance.

Well Tai lung wasn't because he was talking and fighting so that proves that he is still a great villain and he got a redemption after all
Anyone realize that Po talks about a fire breathing crocodile that he fought and later on in the movie we see that same crocodile as one of the spirits from The Spirit Realm that was trapped in one of the cages by Chameleon and had his Kung fu taken away, which implies that when Po fought him, he literally killed him by sending him to The Spirit Realm.
Dang, I guess that Zhen was lucky that Po didn’t send her to The Spirit Realm too when he fought her.

This is definitely the weakest of the KFP movies, and it has plenty of problems, but I still enjoyed it. At least we can all agree that Jack Black singing "Baby, One More Time" is the credits absolutely slaps.
Well it had the lowest budget. By ALOT surprisingly. However, the movie made like 600k$ more than their budget so we should get a 5th film with way higher budget and returning members

Tai lung is my favorite character he is a legendary Villain
Easily the weakest of the franchise by far, but it’s not as bad as people are making it out to be. Yes, it really needed more Furious 5, The Chameleon could’ve been written better, and I wish Shen and Kai had more dialogue. But it’s still a good time. I just hope Kung Fu Panda 5 is better.

If this movie succeeds at anything, it’s what the whole franchise succeeds at: amazing artwork and animation, and while the music is always amazing, Jack Black singing “Hit Me, Baby, One More Time” was icing on the cake. 😂

Tbh it’s a good movie in my opinion. But there are three bad things I can’t stand. First, the reason the chameleon is evil is because she is too small??! That’s stupid. Second, they did my man Lord Shen and Kai so dirty, not even a single dialogue and unlike Tai Lung they were one shoted like nothing, he at least put up a fight. And the last thing is that Lord Shen wouldn’t bow in respect to Po, lets be honest. Yeah sure I can see Tai Lung and maybe even Kai show respect to him, but Shen hated Po to the last freakin moment. But I must say I like the humor in this movie a bit more than in the third one.

Gotta be honest, this one's definitelythe weakest. Shifu's out of character, there's no reason Po should have to retire in his prime, the Chameleon's motive makes no sense when you remember Mantis exists, the returning villains barely do anything, and there's no real message or themes this time. But at least Jack Black's cover of "Baby, One More Time" is a banger.

I can understand why people don’t like this one as it focused too much on comedy and come on bringing old villains without the voices ain’t cool.
IMO this is a good movie buts it’s disappointing for a kung fu panda movie the problems I have with this is everything is fast pace their is no development and they was and people already knew what would happen or what the direction the film was going and didn’t get me wrong I like what they was trying to do with the the villain it’s just she doesn’t have have the Much IQ she not scary or intimidating and her backstory is awful she was to small for kung fu LMFAO did we forget one of the main characters is a literal insect and even though the F5 wasn’t in it was ok with me I like they’re making po into a mentor for zhen they’re matureing him

I watched this in theaters. At first I thought the movie was pretty disappointing but I enjoyed it enough to call it just okay. Not bad but not good ether. It could’ve been so much better.

I gotta love how everyone, EVERYONE, questions why the fck Po suddenly has to pick a successor when the dragon scroll was part of a prophecy they waited 5000 years for. Oolong didn't just pick someone either. He SENSED Po before even seeing him.
Yet Po is suddenly not allowed to be the dragon warrior anymore because he has to take Oolongs place? That would be convincing, if Po didn't still sound AND look like his only 20. I think he can do both until he finds a successor of his own accord. But even than, the films pretty much solidified you don't just become the dragon warrior because you want too.
I think Shifu just playing own rules after learning the scroll was blank.

I was watching it on my PC last week
I was already cautious based on the trailers and I waited for certain reviews upon the movie’s release and, suffice it to say, I was one of the many fans anticipating this to falter in some ways, but then I became immeasurably disappointed upon seeing those posted documents floating around online detailing the production, listing things that were either last minute and hurt the film, cut from it for no reason, but some cut for good reason (live-action animated hybrid? 😧).
I don’t know why Mike Mitchell effectively lied that every character would be in this movie, because the Furious 5’s absence in the trailer was just odd, and then the only time you see them is in the credits…
Chameleon is definitely the worst villain in the franchise. Cool concept, but her motivations are laughable. She was never taught Kung Fu because “she was tool small,” but one of the strongest fighters in this world is a literal INSECT?!
And, finally, I wanted Tai Lung’s return to be more stretched out throughout here and the soon-to-be-released 5 and 6 (God, please don’t have them screw this up). Given how Tai Lung is the only previous villain in most of marketing, I was expecting him to stay throughout 4, 5, and 6. He and Po get into another fight, Tai Lung loses, he accompanies Po throughout the journey, and during the fight against Chameleon, Tai Lung gains an understanding on what makes Po a great Dragon Warrior and commits to that. He would stay in the real world and, through more education, Po grants him as the successor (maybe they hug it out too). This is definitely a “damned if you do/damned if you don’t” scenario since most of us appreciate Tai Lung more as a villain than someone worthy of redemption, but if you’re bringing him back, make it worth the while.
