I always watch this programme, and I didn't know that CT is full of funs - till today. I know Eric always is very sarcastic but very good at rescuing himself from troubles as a lead presenter. The Nigerian by birth and a Kenyan by choice (Ms Ndu Okoh) comes across as a genuine presenter. Keep it up guys - that's why we come to watch you everyday. ❤❤❤.

I am happy with the way CT is shooting his questions. They are very practical. Madam HR I would like you to do some check on interviews that are carried out in government organisations. You will be shocked at what they look for. That's why I agree with CT.

It is indeed true ,i went for an interview having done my research ,and i had smooth experience. From my entry to the panel and how i left .Dressing ,confidence and how organized one is makes you win the panel .

For me some of these things don't make sense, maybe that's why I have never been employed. I even went for an interview and they asked me about a certificate of computer packages, then I told them I didn't complete the packages but I can do anything. Then I placed my laptop on the table and asked them to tell me anything they want me to prove I can do (practical). These guys called me crazy and dismissed me. Why should i cram possible questions and even borrow suits. Why can't these HR guys be real and avoid scoring some nonsense things. Some organizations give us technical interview (like live coding) only, then the one who scores the highest is offered the job. Hizi vitu zingine ni za maana but you can learn them with time, the most important thing is the ability to deliver

My literature review tells me , to be on the safe side, wear business outfit. E.g. simple 2 piece suit , blue or black, plain red=/maroon tie. Ladies same: business attire

I believe more often than not, interviews are not about how you dress how you behave. They are about how you sell yourself. How you articulate your issue especially competency based questions.

Presentation is a package. How you dress is just as important as how you articulate yourself. Let's say a guy with dreadlocks in a sharp suit and tied his hair neatly and articulates himself well.. and another guy in shaggy hair and beard, unpressed shirt, has a smelly hint of sweat. The panel may be distracted and not pay attention even if the candidate articulates himself well.

To the H.R Expert in the room, what happens when a panelist asks you a wrong question, for instance; they refer to an experience/skill that doesn't appears nowhere in your C.V during the interview?
(What I mean is you refer me to some experience in an organization I have never worked for n doesn't appear inthe C.V I have presented to the panel for the specific position......I was shocked though.

i promise this is all nonsense. if you have a skill, use it to build something. team up with your fellow mates who are skilled and start something. employment won't make you rich. employment won't give you purpose. you can't trust the men and women behind a failing nation with your life.

    This is all nonsense.
    1. Salary range should be publicly disclosed. Government should make this a thing. Them keeping it secret is just to keep the bargaining power with the employer
    2. There's no "training" HR incorporate their personal biases and have weak understanding of the technical requirements of the role.
    3. She even reveals that the application can be gamed proving that it's all nonsense. HR is a no sense job. Pathetic
    4. Spoken articulation is bs because it's essentially just favoring extroverted people. Nonsense
