To answer your question in the description, a book on survival/food preservation(I find those interesting). If that doesn't work for you then a trusty Bowie knife
What one thing would I bring to a desert island? Easy: A nigh endless supply of rum. Like the legendary Captain Jack Sparrow. Thanks for the audio, Seaglass.
"Now time for a cLAssic question. What one comfort would you bring to a desert island? And NO cop out answers like "a yacht" or "a phone to call for help". I'll judge you" Answering this, my answer is obviously all my friends, cause if I'm screwed to be stuck on an island, they're all screwed too. if it was vice versa I expect them to do the same.
I think it’s only natural to find a way to remember this kind of experience. It’s something that changes people’s lives and painting the pretty sunset would ensure that the positive experiences would outlast the negative ones.
Same, if it was me we'd have charcoal water filters and a fire starter made out of the laptop screen in the first two days. If I could find a plastic sheet we could boil saltwater and get freshwater
Stranded on an island? Not the worst way to spend a birthday. Very interesting audio. I'd probably panic for a few minutes (irl) if that happened. But hey, atleast we have a cute girl!! Who seems to care about us!!! Loved this!! Amazing as always!! Also, as for the question. I think I'd bring a sleeping bag. Or like, a blow up mattress, not inflate it. But just so you'd have something kinda soft to sleep on.
Wooow Seaglass, this story is so detailed and immersive! It must have taken you a significant time to build it. I like that this story is about caring for each other. Thank you so much for this bittersweet story. ❤️ My one comfort for a deserted island, hmm... A set with a fork, a knife, a spoon. 💀😁
"What one comfort would you bring to a desert island?" I'd probably bring a phone to call for help or a large enough boat to get back to land. I'll take being judged if I can get back home to friends, family and civilization. But as that's not an option and assuming basic needs like water/food/shelter are not a problem, a set of tools. Shovel, hatchet, knife, that sorta thing. It'd be good to get into weaving, woodworking, stone-working or even just making sandcastles. Or maybe some kind of survival manual to make such tools. I need a project to work on and those'd let me begin such a project.
A laptop would not let you reach out from a deserted island. There's no electricity, no ethernet, no wi-fi, no cellphone coverage. You'd need a satelite phone.
28:21 Before she even mentioned painting, I started to think of Bob Ross and how he could paint such great nature pictures so easily that it made me wonder if God designed the world that way. One of my favorite girlfriend roleplays. There should definitely be a part 2 and maybe 3 to this, maybe a therapy session to help adapt to being stuck on an island with the possibility of having to wait a long time to be resued, if at all, and to help her with loneliness or whatever else she's dealing with. I actually like pineapple and freshly caught fish. I was afraid she was going to say we're having rabbit or snake or something really unusual for dinner. And I do feel like I want to give her a big hug. She's really nice and taking care of me, and sounds like she's pretty lonely and touch starved. I must have listened to this like 4 or 5 times already. I really enjoyed this. Thank you and keep up the good work.
I umm…sorry if I’m not too talkative just yet, I’m umm… a bit …lost. I know, you are too. But thank you, for helping…..😵💫🤕 thanks for kinda being my hero…
Eh, we don't need your fun niche tsundere/yandere/whatever character, just make what you want to make. I would want a roll of duct tape. Mythbusters taught me well.
7:43 "You don't have any allergies, do you?" Unfortunately, I have many, including pineapple, almost all nuts, and most fish. Sea urchins, squirrels and roots would be the best options for food on that island, but the only option to survive would be getting away as soon as possible.
One specific comfort that isn't cheating or a loophole... I'm stuck between a Mommy-Dom/Soft-Dom tomboy, a staff-like survival multi-tool (many are trekking poles, shovels, and hatchets/axes when in one piece, which is very practical), or some basic household appliances powered by a solar-battery system. Out of curiosity, what would you choose (regardless of whether your answer be definitive like most people, or a list of options like me)? Edit: also, I hope that college is going well for you. I "flunked", and don't want you to do the same. Also, this is somewhat like "Cast Away" (my all-time favourite movie), which is a big bonus.
Id try and build the biggest bonfire I could every night, if ships come near the area often then aircraft might too at least once in awhile. Hopefully a pilot or passenger would eventually notice there's a big fire where there probably shouldn't be and say something about it to someone who could help. Depends on how much wood there is.
One comfort to a desert isle... hmm... I'm going to assume that the island has materials I can use to make tools, fresh water, and edible food. If it doesn't, then nothing I bring (short of a sat-phone or a raft) is going to save me. If it does, though, probably some kind of book. I'm assuming also that I can't just bring a person with me, because that would be the only possible choice if I could. The problem then becomes which book I take, though. Any book get stale if you read it too many times. Maybe I could bring a whole series, and that would count as one item. If so, I'd probably go with the Dresden Files, for the sheer quantity as well as the quality. Hard to get bored there, and they should stop me from going insane while I try to figure a way off the island.

Being stuck on a deserted island alone would be so much worse than with even one other person. Now we know why Tom Hanks befriended a vollyball
plot twist: we're not actually there, she's lost it
What one thing would I bring to a desert island? Easy:
A nigh endless supply of rum. Like the legendary Captain Jack Sparrow.
Thanks for the audio, Seaglass.
Plot twist: the listener was a volleyball the whole time
I would def be having a schizoprenic attack if I was in a situation like this one
I really like this one
I'm also very appreciative for non-romantic audios in general, those are a little tougher to find so thank you :)
Bruh I wanna hug her so bad, not only is she taking care of me, but she must be insanely touch starved too 😭
Could you please make a sequel to this? This was amazing, thank you. It’s obvious you did your research.
would love to see a part 2 where the get off the island as this was nice

"You don't have any allergies do you?"
*me who ACTUALLY is allergic to pineapple*
(side note though this was a very cute ASMR thank you for this :) )
It was only a matter of time before someone with an allergy to pineapple saw the video... 😭😔
A waterproof deserted island survival guide. I unfortunately do not have that knowledge stored in my mind
I think it’s only natural to find a way to remember this kind of experience. It’s something that changes people’s lives and painting the pretty sunset would ensure that the positive experiences would outlast the negative ones.
It’s rare for audios to make me cry and I gotta say, this one came pretty damn close a few times. Absolutely fantastic work
The grip strength she must have to catch a fish from water
Those things are slippery
A survival kit is wat I want
As a survival nerd id be going all "imma take care of you" tbh
Same, if it was me we'd have charcoal water filters and a fire starter made out of the laptop screen in the first two days. If I could find a plastic sheet we could boil saltwater and get freshwater

Fun video, great choice on picture, and I'd love to see a follow up where some time has passed
Per description: it’s no problem if the character isn’t an archetype. As long as they are interesting, compelling, or cute in their own way!

turns out the whole time she was just talking to a Volleyball
this got so sad towards the end omg 😢
Honestly my favourite audio right now
having a part 2 would be the best things
I umm…sorry if I’m not too talkative just yet, I’m umm… a bit …lost. I know, you are too. But thank you, for helping…..😵💫🤕 thanks for kinda being my hero…
SEAGLASS!!! HI! (good work on this one lol😅)

I think i did die because it is seeming like heaven so far. Wonderful audio
Part 2 🙏😍

Mf what
Real
Skill issue
If I was stuck on an island the best thing I would want to have is a cooking pot
As long as we're together nothing bad will happen to us!
oh boy, i sure hope no one ends up hoarding the coconuts.

A surprise to be sure but a welcome one 🤔
Nice job! 32:45

I love pineapple
Idk about this love. I'm grateful I'm not in a Tom Hanks situation but I'm still on guard
Part 2 with this lovely lady...v
I'm just trying to think of what skills I could bring to the situation.
Tally me a banana 👍
Good contant, the video is credible.
part 2 pleaasseeeeeeeee
Really got immersed in this
I need part 2
💚💚
Ayy lovely
