I remember riding the crest back in 2009 or so with my youngest son. At the top of puke hill was a helicopter. Some lady ate the beans on the trail! My son cleaned the high line on the spine but I struggled with it. Finally came down the lower section instead. I remember blasting down the trail about a mile from the parking lot where the trail had multiple water bars. A bumble bee hit me in the forehead and got wedged under my helmet. Of course I knocked it off just as I hit another water bar which turned my bar and put me in Superman mode! I didn’t get hurt but left me with those memories. Thanks for reminding me of some fun times when I lived in Utah!
Just did Crest on Saturday morning after recent storms. It was my first time in 6 years, still the same 2012 130mm trail bike. It was prime. Did Wasatch Crest, Ridge Connector, then Mid Mountain to Red Bull, down Red Bull. Super fun ride, would do it again, despite being completely depleted of energy by the end.
Lower section after the Spine is awesome. Two weeks ago I ran into a mama and baby moose sitting smack dab in the middle of the trail near the little creeks. They wouldn’t budge and I had to hike around.
I did the Crest loop from PCMR last week (Jenny's), then down into Canyons via Insurgent. It was a blast, but I was so tired by the time I got up puke hill the down hill definitely suffered. Not sure I'll do it like that again. It was my first time and it was an epic adventure. Shuttle seems by far the more fun way to do this. Jealous of your dirt. That looked absolutely incredible.
Oh man, that dirt. Amazing. I hit Kirkman that morning and dirt was so good! Wish I had the time to have done this with you guys that day. Bummer you didn't hit that new trail they built. Surprised you didn't know about it and they apparently don't have it marked well to direct people that way.
You didn't ride the new-ish Upper Pipeline trail (from the upper Millcreek parking lot down to Elbow Fork)? It's really good. Way better than riding the paved road.
I think that I went on the left. But they joined back together. It was $20 or something from big rack. It's going to be a while before it opens though haha.
This Channel is going to grow fast. You guys aren't playing around. This is Mountain biking right here. Great job as usual. 👍👍👍
Thanks!!

Red bull is fun!

Wow, that's crazy haha. Glad you didn't get charged by the mama moose.
That looks like a great ride. That’s on my list for sure. Thanks!
Yup.

Whattttt??? I'm going to have to go back. Where do you get on?
@@RideLabs right before you got the upper parking lot there's a left fork. I saw it in your video.
15:56
Agreed. Elbow Fork is way more fun going down than the road. Just not as fast! ;)
At 8:09 did you end up going left or right? Also how much did the shuttle cost?
I think that I went on the left. But they joined back together. It was $20 or something from big rack. It's going to be a while before it opens though haha.
Milcreek local here. Do you guys do any ride meet ups? Would definitely enjoy some experienced riders to bike with.
Hi Alex. We really haven't had any official rides, just now and then people reach out like you are. Hit me up on Facebook and we can ride sometime.
You guys were cruisin’! How long did it take?
I think it was around 2 hrs moving time.
