Travelled down from Scotland last June for 14 nights cost £400 with the tourer caravan weather was fantastic as you say people were fantastic lots of londoners but really friendly ...loved the restaurant and the out door swimming pool .. We went into Colchester 8 miles away to asda for our essentials....can't wait to go back end of June..cost 2023 end of June £430 for 2 weeks
Good vid.. just started camping this year with my Mrs and 5yr old girl, loved how we've got to sites and she's just been able to make friends straight away, already started booking places for next year, this place could go on the list ✌🏻
Mate you've both done really well there mate. With kids the best holidays are camping holidays. Done it all my life. Good choices for a first time set up, you get stuff and leave stuff over time. I'd ditch the loo and get a two burner stove, maybe one with a toaster for family action. Get some small spuds and scrub them, bit of butter and cook cook them on the BBQ coals. If your paying for the juice consider a camp fridge that's the best use. All the best mate.
@@ukfatman1169 just went last weekend. The site had fire pits to hire so I took a wok. Did a stir fry at 11 at night on the fire. Fantastic. Off again soon. Did a fortnight near Poole in june it was superb. Hope you have the best time mate.
Well done uk fatman ! would like to see the dorset trip, we started camping last year went to IOW then Dorset and North Devon , looking forward this this year somerset then north devon.
I spoke ti Walter over the phone a few years ago when I needed some Trumpet guidance. Long tones - he even sent me his Long Tone CD for free. Really nice caring guy. One hell of a player!!!!
Brilliant video 👍 me my wife and little girl go tent camping in August for the first time we pick our new tent up Thursday can't wait we staying on a site in Chester.. would you recommend us putting new tent up before we go as we are new to it?
It’s really rude to walk across someone’s pitch like that . At the 10:41 I would have opened the window on you so you got the message ! It’s also a bit weird to film someone’s Motorhome and laugh at them when you are in a tent .

thats nice. I like the feeling of being in the woods so i would like a camp site with more trees.

@@ukfatman1169 Just to note, the site fees for a fortnights holiday came to £120. These days that's got to be a win
Get a caravan! The truck is perfect for towing it.
Seems like a lovely staycation!
Nice video, congratulations on your marriage.
Thanks so much. My new wife is heading there tomorrow. Be interesting to see if there had been any changed. I go down on Friday

Where’s the big tall trees?
Not good! The camp site was too cramped! Tent was super close to each other! Tunnel mountain camp ground still the best!
Walter wight is a legend 😜
Lol

Yes put the tent up ! if you have a inflatable tent they are very easy to put up, it's a must before you go camping.
@@daveh453 ok brilliant thanks David 😊
What tent did you buy?????
Sorry I can’t remember. It was terrible!
