In the mid-'60's my friends and I regularly listened to the folk show on WPWT (91.7 FM) before we became obsessed with R&R. I wonder who else remembers that station and that show?
I attended the PWTI from 1980 to 1982. Graduated on 10/08/1982 after successfully completing the 2400 Hour Day Course in Electronic Engineering Technology. Then went back to Europe and had a wonderfull career working high power AM transmitters, then microwave and finally Satellite Earth Station almost all over the world. The school was the best I attended. Pity is gone now. I remember the FM station on the last floor, broadcasting at night. Was fun.
@@eyoyoscreen9529 perhaps we shared the same classes together. I agree. It was the best kind of technical education at that point in time. We were very fortunate.
My Dad (WWII) and Uncle (Korea) both used the GI Bill to attend the PWTI. They had lifetime careers in TV-Radio repair.
