Reason A. The accent she has is the posh rich big-city Indian English. The people who have this accent - Deepika Padukone, Kiara etc. do not need to put on any other accent (Sonam Kapoor etc.). Reason B. Not Punjabi, thus the 'ay - intonation that comes into a posh Indian English with say Barkha Dutt (Punjabi), but not Nidhi Razdan (non-Punjabi), if not there with Kiara.
Not at all! They have very different accents. Deepika sounds very southie! Kiara sounds/accent way posh.

Also if I am not wrong, she comes from a super wealthy background... I saw her pic in 2014 where she was in US inside a Limousin... Its not her fault to be relative of actors or having other privileges but every other day we now see starkids saying we have struggled a lot... I don't know how bollywood defines struggle... But for us struggle means battle of survival financially and logistically... Imagine if a middle class girl had to survive from 2014-2018 with only MSD as her recognizable film! Kiara has people to back her financially plus the contacts she have. Which the real-outsiders doesn't get everytime.

Struggle is one thing which Bollywood can never appreciate. This is the reason there are very few struggled and perfect actors in the pipeline.

Did you even listen to the damn interview? She does the opposite of hiding the privilege she has got.
She mentions in detail the benefit of staying in Bombay, the advantages of rich parents etc etc. She even mentions in detail the privileged unbringing of hers, and how it is different from the lesser privileged strugglers.
As for nepotism - she was not launched. She benefited from the money and privilege her parents had, sure. But how is it nepotism that she has done 3-4 movies in 5-6 years. And almost all have been successful.
She is the step great grand daughter (no direct blood relation)....she is not a by product of nepotism....AND SHE SAYS THAT SHE BELONGS TO A WEALTHY FAMILY..SHE IS BLESSED..SHE NEVER DENIED THAT

This interview pointed out such an important thing, everyone struggles and just because someone seems privileged doesn t mean that their struggles don't count. Many people said that she resembles Deepika. Even Deepika faced a real low in her career. So yes every human being goes through struggle. Life isn't fair, beautiful and always prettier everyone all the time. Keep it up Kiara . Would love to see you more.
The low that you are mentioning has a different platform compared to the low the strugglers face. Not denying the fact that privileged actors do struggle, but not at all comparable to what out of the industry guys do. Their low can be managed financially or by family. The struggler's low can not be managed. One shot gone then hardly there is a chance left for the actor.

I was talking on the undisputed variation of struggle between privileged and out of industry actors, and had no mention of hard work brother.

I am imagining for all those struggling actors out there in Mumbai. Imagine going for auditions in that chauffeur driven lovely car and coming back to a luxurious pad after a hard day's work where a low carb, high protein lunch is served and the bed is made just like you prefer. You spend most days in gyms and dance studios without worrying of money running out. That ride to Bollywood success will be so perfect. Lucky girl 🍷

Mehnaz Hyder, MD nothing wrong.. just that regular industry aspirants aren't as previleged and their success matters more in my opinion.. simply because there is more risk involved when they chose this career path by convincing or going against there families.. trying to get a role while maintaining your looks and figure as well as doing household chores.. struggle even after proving your talent and if they become unsuccessful.. there is often no support system for them.. chosing other career path becomes much more difficult.. lack of finances.. many fall in depression.. others choose less glamorous options in the entertainment industry.. like assisting director or cameraperson or technical roles or creative or writing or directing role.. none of which are as glamorous n don't pay as good as acting...
Many of them are equally or more talented than insiders but don't get chance coz someone with connections got the role.. Someone like Kangana or Irfan Khan is more relatable to me than these Insiders
And struggling actors must look like a model and act confident even with all the shitty conditions, eating crap food.

I don't think she sounds like Deepika. Deepika's too politically correct, so much that it kinda gets boring. Kiara's refreshingly good and had some interesting things to say.
Exactly! Kiara was very articulate in her speech and kept us engaged while it's very boring to listen to Deepika.
Kiara is politically correct too. Honestly she's an average actor and very bland. Like even personality wise, what sets her apart? She's a puppet too eager to please the big wigs like Salman and Kjo. Like I saw Lust stories over a year ago. She's not that natural or effortless. It definitely looked like she was trying to act, and in other scenes and movies she was straight up hammy. Just don't get her hype.
And all those people saying she is so nice and humble, she herself admitted she is a spoilt brat when she says "I don't pay rent, my mom will make my bed for me and prepare food for me if I get home late". I don't judge any adult for living with their parents, I do as well but my parents definitely expect me to contribute to the house in some way if not by paying rent by at least doing some chores in the house like taking the garbage out, doing my own laundry, vacuuming and DEFINITELY making my own bed. And I have always been a city girl but I am no movie star getting the kind of paychecks she is getting. What she can't even fold her bed sheet? What's her excuse? None of these star kids even understand problems and struggles of real outsiders. And I am sure my other friends and common people who live with their parents even if they don't pay rent, we have to help around the house with cooking, cleaning, whatever which is fair cuz my parents are showing me how important it is to be responsible.
