Take a journey with my partner Brody and I as we head out to Loleta, CA to check out the old creamery building where Halloween III, Season of the Witch was filmed. We take a quick ride out to the Historic Northwest railroad trussell then out on Cannibal Island road to Crab Park and Eel River Outlet. Loleta is located about 10 miles south of Eureka, CA. Crab Park is a very accessible and protected beach in Humboldt County. Just another great example of a beautiful beach on the North Coast of Humboldt, California.
Check out the youtube channel grimmlifecollective to see their video on the movie location of Halloween III where they visit the building where the part of the movie was filmed.

Nice visit, especially to the beach. That trestle, if it's in good enough shape, will be part of the Great Redwood Trail, making it part of our future as well as our past.

I so glad I did this recent episode... such a historic bldg but it is quite unsafe. I knew it was on schedule for demolition, so I wanted to get out there... thank you so much for watching... Dock

Definitely on my visit to-do list... :) My wife and I really like the Bear River Resort and Casino in Loleta. It's also the closest to where we live. They have a really nice restaurant and hotel... thank you so much for watching... Dock

Good tour. I puzzled over that block of brick structures when I went through there. What’s with the super-high chroma values, especially in the drone video?

great place to fish for redtail perch w/a fire... I heard the loteta cheese factory is no longer there. Is that true?

I haven't fished there yet... yeah, the old building is being torn down. It's really a shame, just too far gone at this point.... thank you for watching... Dock

Dock sir, what's "that" blue glowing haze to the left there at the 12:49 mark? If you come to Loleta is there anywhere to stay or is it too expensive? And if you don't have a car can you walk from Eureka to Loleta? Like, follow the train line? I hear some of the locals are a bit unstable?

That blue looking haze is actually the mountain range that ends down at Centerville Beach. The tracks did connect to Eureka back in the day but quite a bit is gone. The 101 is walkable but it's way too dangerous. Best to take the bus service... thank you for watching... :) Dock
