Dev Anand was a Great actor as we'll as good human being, who never asked from producers his pending dues as a result was cheated of his dues by unscrupulous. Some people had commented that Dev Anand was callous and he never attended suraiya funeral which is not correct. First of All Feb Anand never attended funerals , but he use to Go to their house quietly during nightime and console their families He loved suraiya passionately but it was her family members who didn't want to loose the cash cow played the religious card and rejected his proposal. Dev Anand was even ready to leave everything and elope and waited entire night under Parel bridge to come, but alas suraiya didn't have the guts to disobey her parents. Feb Anand was gentleman to the core and gave breaks to many in film's like Jackie shroft, Shakti Kapoor, Tina munim, zeenat Aman, zaheeda etc.
