kills is easy to get,you only needs to fight (farm) some low kills players,its about time and effort,you don't need much skill to get lots of kills,but you need skill to kill someone with lots of kills.
Kills only mean the experience, that's all. And it depends in your experience what you've done to be skilled, for exemple "farming kills" wont give you skills but doing 1v1s, fighting strong people with the time, it'll give you experience in fighting with some skills.
the experience strongly varies because you could just be fighting bots. The reason why im decent despite only 2k kills is cause ive fought skilled/top players in private servers instead of just hopping onto publics

The worst thing is that I can't even get revenge because they don't even wanna 1v1. (I've been playing it since genos was in early access)
I had a similar situation happen to me, by the time i was a 600+ kills player, i got targeted by a 7k+ kills guy, and i DEMOLISHED him more than he/her could kill me, and eventually, he/her left.
I have 12k kills. I have a friend with 25k kills. I destroy him regularly. I actually target top of the server just to test if I’ve improved. Only guy I’m can’t seem to beat is this guy named yope with like 8k. And some guy named beqtra with 15k. He is insane.
