He didn’t say that, he asked if it was possible for the judges to have scored it that way because it was fairly close (Leon landed harder shots, though Belal landed more). MMA judges are notoriously terrible at times and I believe one of the judges did give R1 to Leon so he was right. He stated literally right after that he thought Belal had won the fight.
