Liu Kang....from The Chosen One - Earthrealms Champion - Dark Emperor - God of Thunder and Fire - Keeper of Time - The Universe Creator...and he's banging Kitana. Seriously no way in hell Liu Kang was a boring character. He is probably the most develop fighting game main protagonist ever! If you guys really want to say who is the boring fighting game hero, look at Ryu from Street Fighter. Even Jin Kazama has an interesting lore development for him compare to Ryu.

Than in mk shaolin monks the lore started to expand & armageddon characters like the one being effected the entire mortal kombat multiverse verse with its pressence than you have shujinoku fighting Dragon King Onaga who can merge a timeline and destroy with low multiverse attack potentcy. Than MK 9 it was confirmed the realms are there own timelines. And now in MK 11 The Time God if you want the arcade mode ending in a debate. You have MK 11 shao khan merging billions of timelines together putting him multiverse+ with the sand of times. The time gods should be above the elder god with sands of time that control fate, the past, present, &future with transcending duality & giving the characters immeasurable speeds. Since they were already above lighting timers since the first game. And in the comics that is canon and related to MK 10 scoripon was able to fight blood gods that those gods scale to low elder gods can merge & destroy the realms with ease. Wow mortal kombat from me scaling the series looking iver guidebooks & the lore are already above naruto, bleach, & one piece.

Original time line : 1. Onaga 2. Liu kang. 3. Shao kahn. 4. Raiden. 5. Shinnok Onaga Is clearly the most powerful as shown from deceptions intro . Liu kang is next he won the first 4 tournaments beating Shang tsung, shao kahn and shinnok. Shao kahn no introduction needed, he ruled outworld for years 4. Raiden next, many people will shuffle Liu kang, raiden and shao kahn but I’m only going off actual Kombat results, raiden never beat kahn in the original timeline. Next is shinnok. Shujinko was only powerful because of the kamidogu and the amulet. Without them he wasn’t that good in my humble opinion. But I respect yours 👍

And Scorpion beaten him with less struggle. Then we can get an idea of Elder god champion Scorpions power. However, I know it's not canon and scorpion didn't killed onaga but his ending gave us an idea of his power so we can't say Scorpion was weak ¯\(• •)/¯. And in the comic Scorpion beaten Quan chi in a fair fight on Netherrealm. And Scorpion beaten him with less struggle. Then we can get an idea of Elder god champion Scorpions power. However, I know it's not canon and scorpion didn't killed onaga but his ending gave us an idea of his power so we can't say Scorpion was weak ¯\(• •)/¯. And in the comic Scorpion beaten Quan chi in a fair fight on Netherrealm. And we all know Qusn Chi power increases in Netherrealm so beating him there was enough proof to show Scorpion is God level being. There's more feat I can tell you on Discord
