- There is nothing wrong with doing the checks that were carried out but the supposed infractions are not enough to question the reliability of Air Peace.

The developed countries don’t want Nigeria to grow, silent envying
common megan and harry visit exposed thier true color....they are bitter since russia revealed that jesus is black... they have nothing that city called dirty money capital known as LOndon is more than currupt... they try not to teach history to thier kids but we teach about foreign people and western countries..... they think africa is a country.... these people are evil. as a nigerian in uk, i cant find work
I admire his understand of the subject and his ability to communicate his opinion effectively ❤
Apparently the British control and inspection teams have overplayed these issues.
The Nigerian counterparts must also record and expose the infractions of the British Airways to enable us retaliate if need be.
We should be prepared.
We don't have good leaders who know their job
British Airways don’t have any safety infractions tho
@@noaerrr meaning?
They want airpeace 🕊️ out of UK route
They are looking for faults to knock Air Peace out of that route.
It is a fault finding mission. Nigeria must inspect BA to find some faults to use for retaliation incase of any untoward incident.
But unfortunately Nigeria officials will not do such thing.
Regulatory and standards requirements could be used against an organization for good or bad measures, especially when such an organization is up against powerful forces which seek to and are bent on undermining it.
I live in the US, and regulatory compliance to the tiniest bit of issues is taken seriously because the operating environment is highly rule-based. Even their companies are suffocating under the weight of regulatory requirements. Hence, you see them lobbying Congress on some of these regulatory issues. Some have even taken regulatory bodies such as the SEC to court over requirements.
If you know you are targeted, you have to be above board so you do not create avenues for attacks against yourself. Air Peace will have to get quality consultants like the guest on the show to do a comprehensive compliance assessment of its operations and develop an operational model that suit the markets it operates in so as not to fall prey of the regulatory hawks those foreign markets.
Nigeria's regulatory standard can not be said to have matured to the level of some of these foreign markets. So, things like this are expected. Boeing, the American aircraft manufacturer is undergoing scruntiny for possible operational compliance failures. So, exceptions happen. You just note and fix them. Air Peace will mature with time.
Welcome to Air PolitRics 001
Air peace shouldn't slack or give the uk authority to sanction their operations.
These actions are tiny pokes intended to damage the credibility of Airpeace as a safe airline in passengers minds. When things like this are done and put out there overtime the customers begin to think that this airline isn’t safe and then they’d go bankrupt naturally. Don’t think for a moment that these nations are happy sharing the revenue of such a lucrative route with Airpeace. They’d stop at nothing to undermine them.
Shallow mind
@@nonsoottih7405 did you by any means listen to captain Iyayi's analysis or you have problem with comprehension? Bitter mind
@@emekaobi1193The only person I need to listen to are the officials who submitted the report, anyone else’s view has a high chance of being biased or inaccurate.
When dealing with such individuals, one needs to be very careful because it's like looking for faults, just like auditor looking error in a financial account proof.
AirPeace knows the big players do not want them on this route. Prevention is better than cure. AirPeace should not give them ANY reason to discredit or nail them…
British airways and virgin Atlantic had taken Nigeria route for Granted. 21 slot a Week Abuja and Lagos for both Carriers full seats every time. That's our economy going away...
Am concerned and convinced you far from being honest as you refused and to reflect on the approach adopted in frustrating Nigeria flag carrier, Air peace.
We also know that Nigeria needs to strengthen its institutions to prove a level playing field but that’s along way off
Air peace needs to get an international aviation expert to head its operations
They have them. This just pettiness Britain attempting to undermine Air Peace.
I hope Air Peace will take these safety warnings seriously. You're in a completely different culture who takes SAFETY seriously. You really DON'T want to come to a situation a passenger sues your airline over there. Unlike 9ja, there are so many things you CAN'T get away with.
Let those ppl mind themselves ooh and let the poor Nigeria air peace breft(breath)
The British Government is creating every falsehood to discredit Air Peace. I flew from Frankfurt to Abuja on the 28th of April, I couldn't charge my Samsung phone bc the electronic is not working. Air Peace to London is newer, better air craft compared to the old B777-200 that is flown to Lagos.
There might be more to this than just safety concern.
They UK are angry because air Peace carried Meghan and harry free when they came to Nigeria.
As much as we want to support our own, Airpeace needs to understand that the culture with which they operate their business here in Nigeria which is frankly very poor, will simply not 'fly' in more taxing and demanding airports/jurisdictions. Especially considering that Airpeace poses a competitive risk to BA and Virgin and they will not mind seeing this airline stumble and fall.
It's competition and competition is what the UK doesn't want.
@@KennyShilombe Contrary to the perceptions and narratives doing the rounds in Nigeria, BA and Virgin are private companies as are most of the airports including Gatwick. There is a limit to which the British Government will be complicit in any skull duggery to maintain the competitive advantages of BA or Virgin. BA is actually a part of IAG which is Spanish registered. Virgin Atlantic is nearly half-owned by US Delta Airlines. Of the things that are important to the British Government, these two airlines do not feature center stage. Sometimes, we should make sure that we are fit-for-purpose rather than always looking for who and what to blame when we fall short. Airpeace, judging by its performance on these local routes will need to up its game to be successful in such a highly sought-after route. We wish them well.
@@aipboess7138i disagree. Although these are private companies they're still the pride of those nations. All 4 major USA carriers are private too, but should any country try and mess with them the USA government will, and has stepped in. That's just a given
@@chincity You are correct in pointing out that governments may support their own industries, but there are limitations to their assistance. Remember, that private companies often fiercely protect their turf, and some large businesses even hold more power than governments and can fight their own battles. Finding a balance between government support and private-sector competition is crucial. In this context, my central point about Airpeace needing to elevate its performance to thrive in these competitive environments is significant because whether you are more right than me or vice versa, we do not want to give anyone or thing a chance to remove our own Airpeace from this route. Have a good day.
If not for the Nigeria weak institutions, knowing fully well that they can also use internal and local saboteurs in their desperate attempts to discredit and destroy Air Peace so that they can continue to exploit Nigeria and Nigerians altogether, they would not be doing what they have just begun.
Is jealousy is too much. Must you report everything
The .british is hell bent on stopping the Igbos.
Stopping Nigeria or airpeace not igbos.
so called BA & Virgin. Had been milking Nigerians for decades... Air Peace going to the UK is not a welcome development to them. Caucusians feel threatened whenever they good THINGS emanating from Africa.
Nigerians must support airpeace and other nigerian own airlines
😂 THIS IS NOTHING BUT BRITISH GOVT AND NORTHERN POWER BROKERS AGAINST THE IGBOS 😂😂😂
Nigeria government should make explicitly clear to U.K. government that they will not tolerate the banning of Air Peace and such thing is attempting them will be equal retaliation.
This guy is lying to Nigerians by insinuating that pilots have discretion above tower instructions. The tower manages the airspace whereas the captain is incharge of his aircraft. Given limited experience of Nigerian pilots abroad, air peace needs to mandate rigorous training for their pilots .
Are you are a pilot?
This is very wrong. Pilots have final say to the operation of the aircraft.
You clearly don’t know what you are talking about
This is not about malice or envy, this is about safety and regulations! Air peace will simply need to uphold the standards of the UKCAA in order to operate there. In order to succeed internationally, you must meet international standards, and if Air Peace is not ready to do so, they should downscale their operations back to this lawless jungle called Nigeria.
Did you listen?
Sentimental Igbos won't agree
What a bitter mind, it's not enough for airpeace to stop operations to London, just to let your bitter soul know that
@@israelsamuel7764 the problem with you is either you listened to the discussion with hate and biased mind or you simply have a problem with comprehension, the captain in conclusion said he's surprise the findings was made an issue when in actual sense, it's nothing, continue with your bitter soul, OPONU
@@israelsamuel7764Did anybody force you to use Air Peace? Why don't you use BA that has all its safety checks in place? Please, allow the rest of us to use our Air Peace. You just heard everything Captain Iyayi explained but it is the Igbos you drew your conclusion on.
I work in Tower as ATCO , Air Peace airline is a threat to British Aviation Authority, they'll do anything to frustrate Air Peace airline. Air Peace airline must be ahead of them, always be careful.
I thought they were speaking only Igbo language on their flights, let them go and recruit their folks to fight their battles.
This is the problem in Nigeria. A topical issue is on the floor for duscuss, and now you play tribalism card. Do you have N3 million to fly Bristish Airways. Look at how Nigerians are treated abroad even in some other African countries. They know there is no unity, and we surely play tribal cards if a Nigerian is hurt.
@@VeeOguluHe that must come to equity must come with clean hands! If you want the whole country to stand behind you, then don't play tribal crap on your airlines. It doesn't hurt to mix the attires and languages of the country, but when you decide to prioritize 1 above others, then you are stocking ethnic nonsense.
@georgey-b6080 where were you when airpeace lifted every Nigerian from every time back to Nigeria. Keep dividing the country. We all will pay for it.
Did Allen oyema asked you and your miserable tribe to fight for him
This is a question this very mad person will never answer @@VeeOgulu
