Something that so may have not noticed is that Kathie was holding an iPhone 6. And Kathy is usually spotted with an iPhone X and the iPhone 6 was released around the 2014. Quite a while before these characters ever showed. So this shows the chronology of the whole thing as well. The attention to detail is immaculate.

If cable television wasn't already on the decline, I'd say that Brandon's different TH-cam series and Viv's Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel shows were pushing TV away, but nah y'all are the final nail in TV's coffin! Holy shit! You give people with a corporate vision a huge network and a million dollar budget and they'll make a cash grab, but you give people with a creative vision and a low/mid budget, and they'll make the most passionate and intricate shows you've ever seen. Honestly Brandon Rogers has it in him to be this generations John Waters. Crude offensive humor that doesn't hold back. Lots of poop and pee. A professional drag queen he regularly works with. Huge amount of distinct insane characters living in a crapsack world

The designs of the characters and every location is oddly psychedelic.
Maybe I'm reading waaaay too into it, but I think it's reminiscent of clockwork orange and also 80's movies
Brandon is actually really, _really_ good with lighting.
Every set is perfectly lit. During the dinner scene at the Stencils, there are these cascading green and purple lights that make the expressions and movements of the characters feel a little more exaggerated, by making the whole scene look more cartoony.
The costumes are also super overexaggerated. The bright, blond, 60s wigs and outfits really help with that. Especially with how well-picked the actors are.
@Ma. Isabel Tan-Suarez campy, British, and uncanny. Set in modern times with influences from all the eras. Like John Waters directing a 80s slasher/horror comedy with the plot of a "it's the end of the fkn world", natural born killers.

That’s because it’s not formula. Real creativity died in mainstream media a while ago. Not to take away from Brandon’s talent, but there would be a lot more mainstream shows of comparable quality to this if show business was still about genuine art.

A part of me believes that the Mingeworthy's colors being pastel symbolizes that the life they were reaching for was almost like a fantasy. Usually pastels are used to be welcoming and calming, but can be seen as unsettling due to how bright and artificial it can look. They tried, but their criminal life catches up to them, breaking the fantasy of normalcy.

Every time i watch through these series' i always take joy from how they hold anything sharp by the tip.
It makes *sense* because they don't wanna accidentally hurt people on set, but it makes every scene with a blade look so silly i love it.
Brandon, you should rename this series from "normal British series" to "outstanding British series".
The Mingeworthys were introduced 5 years ago. When they first appeared, they said they were British for a little over 7 years. This series probably takes place in or around 2009.
That, or I'm just reading way too deep into this lore he created. But to be fair, there is a fair amount of it.

I love how you can obviously tell that the character is played by Brandon but his acting skills are very great that you know it’s a different person. Like the facial expressions, voice, attitude, and stuff all make it seem that’s it not Brandon.
He has such a wes Anderson, utopia themed, Steve kubrik style of coustume and the ocd styled centred camera with subtle motion blur at the corners and the sets are amazing I would love literally anything shot at on these sets and thank god you are the one who makes amazing plot on them.bless your soul
