I was just reading some comments about this game. Since you've been following this game for a long time, surely you know. Some people say they went 'full fanservice route' in CN version, and it can be seen with those interactive skins currently in the game, which is similar to interactive skins for Snowbreak. So do you know if later story chapters include fanservice like in Snowbreak? As in inspector being a 'harem master' and marrying his subordinates like in Snowbreak and similar? Because if that's the case, I already quit Snowbreak due to fanservice seeping into the story and character personalities being retconned. Speaking of which, did they retcon anything in the story with that 'reboot' they announced earlier, or was that just store/gameplay related?
@@TheMrToxin so far the story I did doesn't have extreme "harem" vibes towards the MC, honestly I'd say zero so far I actually only reached the story to like chapter 10 ish and stopped now there's 23 in total so a good half of the story is foreign to me. The CN version was different in many aspects some argued very different, and the overhaul was to change it and make it the same version as global, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and SEA server( still in beta after a whole year) has. They did amplify the fanservice but I'm pretty sure it's the skins so far. I can keep you update as I clear more story and I can say maybe the event ones might be more fanservice but I also actually only played one event.
@@GenuinelyTired I see, so you didn't see the full story yourself. Looks like we got most of the chapters, since currently it's 17 total, while CN has 23 as you mentioned. The thing is, as I played Snowbreak from launch, I know how different it was. It was a different writer initially that later left, and there were absolutely no harem vibes to the story. Then all of a sudden they did a 180 and completely retconned the whole story, including the MC, and basically made a completely different game. So I'm kinda having deja vu here, because Snowbreak's first 10 chapters were just like Cat Fantasy ones, you losing your memory, getting visions and exploring the world and factions, and then all of a sudden the retcons came and game basically became a full H game. That's what worries me about Cat Fantasy, especially since I don't know what the reboot fully entailed. You say it was very different in CN but in what way - story, gameplay or something else? At least Cat Fantasy has a female inspector option, so that excludes some stuff Snowbreak has like deleting friendships between characters (Siris and Chenxing), so that they can fawn over MC. But in those interactive skins, you can see male hands of the protagonist, even if you picked female, so that kinda worries me a bit. I wanted to spend money on this game like the lifetime subscription, but I don't trust them fully yet and I don't know what their future roadmap is, and I really hope they don't plan to go the infamous 'snowbreak route'. But I guess we'll see after they start adding new story updates and new interactions between characters, I hope you make videos about them too, so that people can see if there are any major changes in direction in future updates.
I NEED that dup so shes guaranteed a debuff with a basic card. The luck i got with that banner is nasty lol. 1st 10 pull 5 star but not her next 10 pull got her then another 5 star. So next 5 star is her im assuming if its a 50/50

I was going to wait for dorothy but thinking about it... doing straight up damage is better then waiting for DoTs to tick. Also some stages have turn limits so DoTs dont feel meta unless they do insane damage
@@gbcardo4544 yeah... I understand how good she can be, but it's interesting how some people claim Shiro is a skip meanwhile all in on Dorothy. Furthermore seems the closer she is to arrive the more she is also gonna be labeled as a skip 😅☕
@GenuinelyTired I see people say green forest asuna is just as good a unit as Shiro. But forest asuna is not great right away and she has no rate up for dupes as of right now. The way I see it, Dorothy won't boost your account. She is a horizontal investment for your account for the special occasion in that you can't deal direct damage to the enemy, if we get such a situation. Meanwhile, battle shiro is the vertical investment. Especially with dupes, she will boost your account since the trinity squad is already given to you, but your early game resources will be depleted, and your roster will be limited. I think it depends on what kind of player you are. ☕️
It is true that Dorothy is good because she has area damage, but she is red, it may be that in pvp she is useful for green teams, but if you look at the story mode or bosses they are around favoring the green.But it makes sense because that's what they're selling you, a green character and 2 promotional skins of green characters, so at least at the beginning of the game I see Shiro as more useful.
@@GenuinelyTired diversity is important too. I actually think yunpei is a great addition to the team and the devs seem to have put some emphasis on her to showcase this. Otherwise, the other 3 seem to be the best choice for now. Even though I also like another a few other characters.

I like the recommended 4 but i think echo is the weak member. She seems to be easily replaced by other much better options.
