Nor is it like with Esther and Julie where Ben never really seems to really stop and think if his actions have consequences. With Rook, they’re around each other all the time, eventually have a mutual partnership.
Ben constantly compliments rooks aim with the proto tool, and the one time he missed, he tried to chear him up, instead of mock him, which is odd for Ben to consistently compliment someones ability and not joke when they fail, I just think that's adorable

You hit all the right story beats, especially towards the end. Love how you incorperated the lyrics because knowing the words also guides the video instead of just letting the music become background noise to the scene like most AMVs. And it was a great decision to focus on Kevin, Gwen, and Ben as charcters, and not them using their powers/ aliens. I'll always love that video.

Might I remind that Paradox clearly states "whenever Ben meets his future self his future is bound to change," thus changing his destiny and disproving the notion that Kai and Ben are destined for one another since Ben meets his future self during the no watch Ben arc. Spanner kept pushing them together because Paradox gave him his device and nothing more. Never did we hear mention or see Paradox teach Spanner on how time travel works, and as such he most likely didn't know that the second Ben met his future self Spanner's timeline became a split timeline along with all events afterwards that were apart of his timeline. Ben is still a teenager and thus still has time for self discovery. Sure the gameshow host only pulled women but for all we know he was homophobic or atleast didn't want to lose views from homophobic areas. Not to mention the fact that Ben hasn't experienced a lot of romantic love in his life as shown with the host being desperate enough to pull every single female Ben has met into the game just so there would be enough contestants. I do agree that they would never show Ben and Rook in a gay relationship as that would drop the franchise's popularity in homophobic areas but that doesn't mean there isn't atleast implications. Not to mention the fact that Ben is prone to falling out relationships like with all of his love interests so if Ben were to get with Kai in his new timeline that doesn't guarantee they would stay together.
