Love this. You deserve a place on this earth and to be able to afford the medication to help you do so. Wisdom teeth and appendicitis would have killed me in my youth if it wasn’t for modern medication. Everyone should have a chance at life and it shouldn’t be restricted by a price tag. I’m sure you made sacrifices in your life to pay for those medications in the past and I hope it is easier to convince insurance companies to cover it or for you to pay out of hand for it. ❤
In Australia, we have what is called the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). It is Federal Government funded, through our taxes. Most prescription medications are around Aus$31.60 , or $7.70 if you have a concession card. There is an annual "safety net" threshold of Aus$1542.10 beyond which prescription medications are free, this is lower for pension card holders, at $326.40 per annum.
The only reason I'm still on this Earth is to clean up the collapse that happened to my family for decades.

My Eliquis is $20 a frickin pill and I have to take 2 a day. $40 just for a blood thinner? (there are others but I can't take them) and I have other heart related issues too. My meds are $1800 a month. WTF??? I live in medical debt as a senior who had been healthy my whole life till 60 and then I fell apart health wise, financially and I am one step from living in my car. Savings gone. Seriously, something has to give!
Google the price of the package, for example in France, a package of 60 tablets costs around 60 euros. The US, in all its fear of communism, has allowed health care costs to explode. Biden IS on the right track.

I was put on Eliquis while in the Medicare gap and the price w/insurance was over $300 for 1 month. I'm a retired grocery clerk.. no way I could afford it. Thank you President Biden.
