Love a good lemon meringue pie, funnily enough I just watched your Key Lime Pie not that long ago. I must make the effort to try both of them out. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for making this video of the lemon meringue pie, bought back some fond memories of my late step mum who made this with me when I was a teen like u did from scratch! We made many classics together like this, apple crumble (she used to steel the apple in her microwave! Believe it or not) also she taught me how to make jam and bayliss drink one xmas, she was an amazing lady n although she only passed in January this video bought a tear to my eye and gave me some great memories, so thank u for that xx keep up the good work I've seen a lot of ur vids now and I like the fact u r honest n don't claim to b a master chief and u wing it well, I really enjoy watching your videos 😊 xxx
I remember making one of these in school. A right classic British pudding. Also it's really hot here in Scotland of all places. I think I almost melted today watching the football.
Looks yum! Love lemon meringue! Just watched your butterpie looks yum as well! I like the way you did your pie crust for the lemon meringue, could use it for other sweet pies as well. Not doing much cooking here at the moment too hot and humid in Australia! Will try later when the weather cools down. Received a pie maker for Xmas, have you any recipes for a pie maker, was looking at a chicken pie, without mushrooms hubby doesn't like them much, love them myself. I also love mornays he doesn't so try to accommodate his flavours! Have you tried any mornays!
This is my mother in law's favorite!! And I have never made her one....I am excited to make her your recipe!!! Although meringue scares me - I am in Florida and we almost constantly have like 99% humidity!!! LOL 😂
Love the video Keef, the pie looked delicious. I'd like to put a request in for a Mexican recipe: "Enchiladas ", "burritos" or Tamales". Smothered with a 🌶 chili and your good to go. Thanks Keef. ~Michelle
My favorite pie, although key lime pie is a close second. You should show a key lime pie recipe. :). Oh my, you are in Leeds. I live in America now, but I grew up near Harrogate. We used to take the train from the Harrogate station to Leeds. Mum had an elderly auntie who lived in Leeds and she would go to visit her at least once a week. I would go with her when I was home on break from school.
😊 Mate when you lit up the flamer i just knew you were going to set it alight. lol, you kill me Keef. I'm not a fan of sweets but this looked cracking. Cheers Moose. 👍
You in Leeds. Im loving the Christmas Market I am. One of my yearly done things. Have to come up for the market. Bockwurst sausage, roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate with ameretto. Variant flavourings of Marshmellows wrapped in chocolate mmmmm. And ginger bread in the shape of hearts with messages written on in icing.
Hi Keef, Would you be open to making Crème brûlée? I've tried it a couple times but it never seems to come out as well as when you get it at a restaurant. I'd even take a video on just how to make custard from scratch! Thank you, Devin and Courtney
Well I didn’t know you had made lemon meringue pie, and today I have about 37 lemons to process so I decided to make lemon pie. Yay, I don’t have to ask cos senseable man, you have one here. Its now the middle of winter in NZ 19th July. In order to make it quicker though I will be using biscuit crumbs.
Looks a bit runny and the crust not quite cooked enough for me, but still love the effort. Looks are great, but taste is everything. Some of the most frustrating and "fun" things that I have cooked have "slight " flaws. Recovery from slight mis-steps, without having to trash it all, has it's own kind of special sense of achievement. Keep on keeping on. 8-)
this channel is so pure and sweet, I love it
😀
Ha ha. Love how honest your videos are. I think that is what makes them so relatable! Thank you. Best wishes from Calcutta.
Thanks Bong!
you crack me up - genuine belly giggles!! you cook like a lot of us do, mistakes, blunders and all. I love your videos.
Thank you!
You look so happy while cooking on your videos it makes me happy too.
The tiniest meringue fire. So cute!
I could have made it bigger!

Yeah - humidity can be a problem - I used to live in Dubai (frequently humid) and Madrid (sometimes humid) - but good luck if you ever get a dry day!

I'll put them on the list. I did make tamales a few years ago - definitely time for a remake!
I To Vixen
Hey Keef! That was great! How about a good old Apple or cherry pie next! Lol thanks
Made a cherry pie a while ago - th-cam.com/video/CGLH9BU3tG4/w-d-xo.html - haven't done an apple pie though.

The pie looks awesome! :D Could you please make a chocolate mousse cake next? :D
Thank you! Choc mousse cake, not next, no. But maybe sometime.
That would be great thanks! I love your recipes! I'm gonna try to make this pie for my boyfriend, he loves this type of dessert :D
😊 Mate when you lit up the flamer i just knew you were going to set it alight. lol, you kill me Keef. I'm not a fan of sweets but this looked cracking. Cheers Moose. 👍
Honestly, I've done that millions of times and never once set fire to a meringue!

This is awesome! You really should make a video together with Henry's Kitchen.
Just looked at that. I'm utterly baffled.
Hi Keef,
Would you be open to making Crème brûlée? I've tried it a couple times but it never seems to come out as well as when you get it at a restaurant. I'd even take a video on just how to make custard from scratch!
Thank you,
Devin and Courtney
Hi Keefy , I make a fab cheese and onion pie , would you consider filming a cheese and onion pie recipe for us 😊
Did a cheese and onion pastie once - th-cam.com/video/2TQ5sPoCm5s/w-d-xo.html
Keef, it seems you're the pie expert. any chance of a pie flavoured pie?
Hohoho

I like that you still show your failures. makes you seem more human and less like the Pre-making chefs that TV likes to show.
Yeah!
Keef, london cheesecake please a taste of my childhooh, 63 now so a very long time ago, cheese not involved by the way. Flavours of bakewell tart.
Dunno Jan, never heard of that one.
Winner winner winner 👍
Dinner dinner dinner
That looked more like a pink grapefruit than an orange!
MORE LONG EGG! MORE LONG EGG!
Long meringue!
