Digital Epidemiology Lab - UC Digital Futures

The Digital Epidemiology Lab focuses on both regional and global health. Regionally, the lab collaborates with local health departments to protect and improve community health by preventing disease and injury, addressing environmental hazards, promoting healthy behaviors, and preparing for emergencies. Globally, the lab tackles health issues that transcend national borders and have significant political and economic impacts. Working with partners in the United States and abroad, the Digital Epidemiology Lab addresses major challenges such as the opioid abuse epidemic, the HIV epidemic, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
