      Sam Evans she said it like that because the marines were marching behind her. Get it right and listen to the video...”even though the army is todays featured branch” she recognized the difference and said what she had to say correctly.

      I like how Americans show their love and support for their troops, I was on a course in the U.S 🇺🇸 10 years ago and as I was getting breakfast 🥞🍳 at the hotel 🏨, a father and son came up to me and said “Thank you for your service” - it almost brought a tear to my eye as no one in my country (New Zealand 🇳🇿) ever says that to us (NZ Army) out loud.
      Kiwis probably silently show their appreciation, but it would be nice to hear those words now and again

    • @luisitocomunista546
      @luisitocomunista546 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Petr Tkac because they fought in battle. You don’t need your country to declare war to become a veteran, you need to come through hell and back. Those people saw stuff, their brothers in arms dead, many came with PTSD only for you to say they really ain’t veterans

    God Bless the Veterans! Even some of us Liberals respect their service! ( Liberals that are'nt patriotic or respectful, are fully within their rights to do so - do not demand that people love this country, for that would be betraying the very ideals that make me a proud American )

    • @quinnreverance611
      @quinnreverance611 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Henry B No, it's just another perspective. What makes a country "great", is based heavily around how to define "greatness". If you define greatness by military and raw international power - then yes, america is great. But if you determine greatness as the best place to live with the most oppurtunities for everyone - America would not be great. Places like Canada, Finland, and New Zealand would be greater. Americs has done great things, and has great people - but as a general country itself, it is no longer the greatest in my eyes and to those of the world. And to not consider America great, is not disrespectful - it's just being realistic.
