Oh my gosh Ann, way to go. It is beautiful and looks super on her. I do crochet but I've never made clothes. Used to make blankets for hospital and just for the nick u unit. Glad God has protected you from the storm.

Oh my! I just love that dress! Reminds me of dresses that my Grandma made. She put pom poms on the ends of the ties if I remember correctly. Chrissy looks so adorable in her new dress! ❤️🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I am allergic to most acrylic, but I can wear/use I Love this Yarn. It is so soft, I like their cotton and sport yarn too. I also like Herrschners yarn.
The dress came out so pretty. It really is perfect on Chrissy and those adorable shoes.
I learned to crochet chains when I was like 5 but didn't really do any real crochet until I was 7. I also learned to knit in Switzerland (and Germany) at age 12, but I don't remember my teachers name, she was our house mother, I was in boarding school. After that I self taught myself to read patterns and absolutely love/collect antique and vintage pre1960 pattern booklets, and Japanese pattern books. I also use to crochet and knit for charity, haven't done it lately. I love knitting and crocheting for dolls and use to do so for charity for 18" dolls, and 14" dolls.
