- Danbee had her first week of high school! It was the first time in about 2 years since she has seen her friends because of the pandemic. Her school days are from 7:30am - 6:30pm because of an extra class, KASA (her club), and cheer practice.

fr, this is also my first year with other girls who’ve done cheer longer than me and i also have no experience and i don’t look like that lmao, but it takes hard work and she’s doing amazing
Fr she gave me confidence!! Ive always wanted to be a cheerleader and I’ve recently decided impulsively to do it thanks to her! Tryouts are in about 20 days! :)

aw it's ok!! she maintained her flexibility when she was younger, so that's why she was able to do it!
@@sohnsistersvlogs haha yeah i used to be flexible and pull one too but my legs got longer so it just doesn’t work
That’s how I am 🥲 but I stretched and my coach made me do it when I didn’t have it on the ground but I got it in the air. I guess my point is keep working and you’ll get it and it’s easier in the air

So I have known my cheer coach since middle school so I know getting into varsity would not be hard for me but I knew the skills wouldn't really easy for me. I started off backspotting and we got some really cool skills down and then we had a new girl come in and she took my spot I know how to fly base and back spot because that's what I did my whole entire seventh grade year was switching through those spots. Now with her here I have to just spot around and make sure no one dies:) (which I'm fine with) but I'm still very sad but by the looks of it you're doing amazing and are becoming way better than me:)

I would love to do highschool cheer but sadly im already in sophmore year and my school doesnt have a team because its an arts magnet. We finally started sports this year but its just swim team, cross country, and tennis.

I have my tryouts in a week and i’m super scared since I have no experience, and i’m also a freshman. does danbee have any tips for cheer or for stunting? :)
im not danbee but, if youre going up in the air for stunts make sure you squeeze super hard and dont look down! if youre a base or backspot, use ur legs a lot! using ur legs is just as important as using your arms to hold up a stunt. i would recommend watching some videos to learn cheer basics like motions, so that you aren't completely lost! and remember to smile and be loud as they're probably looking for someone enthusiastic rather than quiet. try and be sharp when you move your arms, like awkwardly sharp. they like that! good luck!!!!
