I would not mind a sequel to this game. The gameplay is beyond solid, it has practically the best version of every halo weapon, and I love the score. Everything feels 'tight.' I also don't remember dying in this game being very rage-inducing.
My only problems with ODST, it was surprisingly easy even on Legendary and the missions are sometimes just too short and lack that epic feeling the best of Halo games has.

Oscar Mondragon Several times he has said no, because Halo 2 is the hardest Halo game. If you want a Halo 2 walkthrough, check his channel and use that as a guide. It will be the exact same as Halo 2: Anniversary except in 2004 graphics and not 2014 graphics.
Data hive is actually pretty easy, All I did was carry a carbine and a plasma pistol and all i did was plasma he brutes shields down and then head shot them
Ryan Apperson The hive is easy when you realize that they aren't infinitely respawning. Just follow Dare. The only thing that will kill Vergil are the Grunts on the Plasma Turrets on the Phantoms, take them out first and you should have little trouble with it Just don't get too far away from Vergil so that you don't lose your overshield.
Hokie, I have an alternative method for tackling this, which does not rely on the rocket launcher, in case the player has not yet unlocked the relevant superintendent cache. I bring forward a beam rifle & carbine from the previous Rookie level. After killing the grunts I swap the beam rifle for a plasma pistol, then head the north east way & kill the two jet pack brutes down the hill - if I attract them close enough, this generates more carbine ammo. The crucial difference from your approach is that I then use your "from distance" charged plasma pistol shots technique to strip the armour from as many brutes as I can, killing them with the carbine if possible, then I go back for the other plasma pistol & rinse & repeat. I then kill the sniper jackal that is now on my left. I then either complete from here having recovered the beam rifle, or I recover the beam rifle & see if I can sneak past the hunters by keeping to the extreme right in their plaza - I know that this doesn't qualify as "fighting everything"...if this is successful I then follow the rest of your 1st part. If it isn't, I go back & complete the job on the north east route but with the beam rifle this time.
That'll work. And that's kinda the beauty of Halo 3 and ODST. There isn't one single prescribed way that you have to play the game. I try to think of the _best_ strategies for my videos, but there's always a way I hadn't considered.

I know this comment’s probably gonna get buried and no one will see it but even though this is one of my favorite campaigns in the series (if not my favorite), it sucks doing it coop unless you and your buddies decide to play the entire thing up to at least this point. I don’t if you’re aware of this Hokie, but if you wanna do this campaign coop, not only do you have to re-get all the audio logs to open the superintendent supply caches, but if you stop the session and decide to jump back in another time, any progress you made on audio logs resets no matter if you’re playing with the same people or what section of Mombasa Streets you’re up to. I wanna do this whole campaign split-screen with a good friend of mine but I’m worried we have to beat the whole thing in one sitting
I had a pistol and a beam rifle and a ghost. This part was pretty easy. Splattered the hunters, then sniped the chieftain and took care of the rest with a beam rifle or ghost
I had the rockets but it loaded with default weapons. I have done this a few times on legendary and also on SLASO. This time I was doing no death playlist legendary so drew on laso and this play through experience. Basically go left. Play stand off shield strip and pistol headshots. Take all the brutes down, save chieftain. Retrace step, go right hug the wall, jump through last window, use bus and right wall to shield and run up to the door before chieftain spots you.
Just to help out if anyone was in the position i was in. I forgot to follow the Mombasa street walkthroughs and didn't pick up a rocket. I had a smg with one clip and a beam rifle with 5 shots. I followed the video. But instead of killing the brutes by the bus after killing the hunters, i simply put my marker right where Hokie did at 3;42 and ran past the hunters, they just stand run after you and then turn around once you exit the square! Hope this helps!
I beat the last mission on legendary. But I died a lot because of the Buggers(a.k.a. Drones) come out of the one of the Highway blast-door. The machine gun turret on the warthog doesn't fire fast enough. Not even with Buck on it. What do I do?.
Hey Hokie! My usual method to deal with this is to have a fully loaded pistol, sniper or beam rifle (preferably the sniper rifle, as it holds 4 more shots when fully loaded). Brutes have a funny behavior when shot at with a sniper rifle and that's to side step a second after they get hit, which allows me to usually get a headshot kill on most brutes that aren't Captain Ultras (blue ones with horned helmets, and usually only the brute captain with the gold armor spawns with the brute pack.) After killing all of the brutes using the methods you described, I pick up the Fuel Rod Gun, go back to the hunters in the courtyard and hit them with 3 fuel rods each to kill both so I can tell myself I killed all the available enemies in Kikowani-to-Data Hive.
Well, I didn’t know about the rocket launcher, so I sneaked past the hunters, did the sniper and the other lot, and went back and did the hunters afterwards with the fuel rod gun. Not very good at close fighting against hunters 😮
Im replaying odst and i have a bit of a problem. I cannot access the door that is able to get to the data hive, no matter how many things i do different. I was wondering if maybe i needed to get all of the audio logs, but im not too sure because i really do not want to go out and find a shit load of audio logs. Could you help? Dementia 21 I completed odst a couple months ago, heres what u gotta do: The reason the datahive is not opening is because you mostlikely do not have a save file open. For some reason, the dtaahive can only be accessed if you complete all the levels again on one save file. The datahive doesnt open after kikowani station because you probably went straight to kikowani station on a new save file, not an already saved one. In short, heres what u gotta do: u have to play every level up to the datahive on one save file. You dont have to do it all in one sitting (although i did because i had time), but make sure to save before you leave the game.
I beat the Cheiftan by luck. I managed to hit him with a charged plasma pistol shot and he went beserk, and put the cannon away. So I just kited him until I finally knocked his helmet off, then took a while longer to actually headshot him because I have no idea wtf is wrong with the pistol's aim. I can headshot grunts easily, buy bullets just seem to hit them anywhere but the head (even when it fills my reticle) otherwise. Maybe the Xbone is just shit at emulating it.

when I try to start data hive but the doorway was locked so what does that mean
