I think you should keep it. As much as budget content is relatable and cool to watch I think that showing off clean oem inspired builds that take more money are a show of passion and are also great content in their own way. If you love the car so much it’s not worth regretting the decision to sell it.
@@ALLDAYANTHONY Don't sell! it is still very relatable but it might take longer to acquire certain parts for some people. Ive been slowly saving and putting money into a 94 eg coupe. I think these kind of builds will inspire people to restore cars!
Keep it please!!!! I purchased a clean one owner 05 Rsx type s a few months back. I love watching the Rsx build videos and it inspires me to get my car as clean as yours. Please keep it going. 🤘🏻🙏🏻
Keep it! In all honesty this car is what brought me to the channel not that many people out there have them and they seem to be harder and harder to find clean examples as the years go on but don’t stop the rsx content I want to see a full in depth build to your taste doesn’t matter if it’s budget friendly or not
Hey man. I’ve been looking for clean RSX Type S video builds more specifically and there’s not much content out there but rather 10 min build videos or not great quality content at all. It’s super hard to find any RSX build videos really and that’s how I came across you and it’s been such a joy seeing you build this car to what it is now. I am an owner of a vivid blue pearl RSX Type S. When I got it. Boy. It was in terrible shape. Was sitting for 3 years so u can imagine everything I had to replace. I want to build it up because this platform is so special. You don’t see anything like it anymore. A Z1 or A2 powered hatchback/fastback car what almost was a Type R from Japan. They’re just increasing in value each year because it’s a unique platform. Your videos have helped me get an idea of what a very clean rsx can be and that’s what I want for my build. I’d love to see you continue the car because that’s what it’s all about being a car enthusiast. It’s the passion. I can see the love you have for the car because that’s my scenario too. When I think about selling it. Boy. It’s hard to because of the connection and memories I have made with the car despite the financial situation I’m in. I keep it because it’s special. So I’d say only you know the value of the car. You know what it means to you and if you love it and enjoy the car. Man the answer is straightforward from there. I appreciate your videos and passion for high quality build videos. I hope to see more of it and if not, it’s been a phenomenal series. That would be a car I’d by if I ever had the opportunity of someone who put a lot of care into the car and made sure everything came out spectacular. You’re a tinker of your own craftsmanship. That’s amazing
Keep it, for Soichiro’s sake keep it!!! I am currently restoring a 2005 Type S, today got hit with yet another road block with it…really hit the ol’ discouraging feels. Then I come inside to see you’ve posted your Type S & it honestly made me crack a smile. So please continue to build that car to what it deserves to be. Rip the Vtech, document the enjoyment & inspire other financially questionable decisions that make us happy for those few blissful moments we connect with our cars.
6:40 lmaoo Speaking from the TH-cam/Business side of things, it makes more sense for you to sellit and continue to pump out content. But as a car enthusiast and honda guy, I know I'd want to keep it if I were you
Keep it! There are some cars that are more special than others and it does not always hit you until they are gone. Sadly you can spend a big chunk of your time later trying to track that car down or one like it. Sometimes you are not able to. Your RSX with the way you set it up and the parts you got is a very special car. As more regulations make modern cars more stale and numb, driver's cars like your RSX Type S are going to be more and more sought after. Find a way to do another budget build but keep this one. I regretted getting rid of my old CRX. Car after car was just not as special. Now that I was fortunate enough to get an FK8 Type R I know I am never selling this car. You have one of the nicest RSX Type S's I have ever seen. Keep it!
I found your channel looking for videos on the RSX while I was contemplating buying one of my own. Your videos helped me from liking the car, to loving the RSX. I’ve since bought my own and I love it more and more each drive. Now I couldn’t imagine myself ever sellin this car, so if there was a vote I’d vote to keep the rsx 👍🏽
I'm not a fan of the RSX for my own selfish reasons, but I've absolutely enjoyed watching what you've done to this car, and I hope you keep it. I like what you've done and admittedly would love to see what else you might do to it. Hope your back is getting better and your holidays were good.
Also you should 100% keep the car. You've put wayy too much money into it to sell it. But that being said if you really do want to sell it, I'm sure you have a viewer that would be more than happy to guy it from you for more than how much you put into it too.
I think this is your newest hero car, you should keep it and keep tinkering with it. As a dc5 owner it’s nice seeing something done right and your videos are super inspiring for my build and to have the how tos for doing the diy upgrades
RSXs are gaining in value pretty significantly. A good Type S in nice condition with decent miles starts at 11k. I’ve seen one with 40k miles that was mint and had genuine A spec from factory kit on it and it sold for 26k.
The RSX TYPE S looks fantastic man. I’ve been contemplating on looking for a type s. My Mazda3 I’ve used VHT Bright Blue and I actually took my calibers off the car, sanded them down to bare metal as I could and primer’ed them before painting them with Rust-Oleum high temperature paint so they would stay the bright blue color for a long time and not chip or fade away the color and I’ve did this probably 2 years ago and haven’t had any issues minus getting a little dusty from brake dust.. I went with Bright Blue as a color other then black or silver as an OEM color because most people use either Red, Yellow, Black, or Silver and wanted to be a little different tbh
Hey Anthony, I bought my 02 black type S one year and three days ago. You were the biggest inspiration into me getting this as my first car, and I cant thank you enough. Hope you dont sell the car so I can keep being inspired by your build lol
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Anthony ! I would keep the car and just enjoy it at this point. You put alot of time and money into it now sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor, just drive it and keep it clean. Your floors, WOW, they came out amazing !! What a huge difference they made in your already nice garage, I love it !! One question, what was the name of your propane heater setup ? I know you said it works great.... Anyway, great job on the RSX and the garage. Happy New Year to you and your family and looking forward to more great content.
I bought a NHBP Type S around the same time you did and have followed your build as I've restored / upgraded mine. I actually bought a Yonaka exhaust based on your video. It's the best car I've ever owned and I don't plan to sell anytime soon. FWIW, I agree that content around more expensive parts will make it unrelatable to someone like me and I think these cars are best as OEM+. It would suck to see no more content around your RSX, but totally understandable for a content creator. I've fallen in love with the k series and would love to see more of that if you decide to move on.
Really enjoyed watching your build as I'm looking to buy an RSX myself. Believe it or not I have a 2 owner 98 integra with only 128k that I've had for 13 years and I'm ready to move on. The funny thing is wherever I go people are always asking if l want to sell it LOL.
Vibratechnic motor mounts are a little pricey but they barely vibrate. Their whole marketing thing for the mounts is that they are still stiffer than OEM but they have minimal vibrations. I've been running them for 5 years and had no issues so far. It vibrates a little when I have the AC on but at a stop it still feels like OEM.
Obviously, keep it. You are getting so much value in happiness for such a bargain. I am the same way with my same generation TSX (bigger brother), which is so clean that it still has the factory blue and yellow markings on the underside of the car (built in Japan). I think your choices are either go boosted on a stock block. Or do a built motor if you want to keep it N/A. It doesn't quite make much sense to do both, because you are not racing, and the motors are relatively inexpensive (I managed to pull 3 from a junkyard as backups). Both choices are going to be around $6-7k, with you doing most of the work, which you can do, I'm sure of it.
Get vibratechnic motor mounts for an oem feel and none of the motor movement that oem motor mounts suffer from. There is almost no vibrations at idle with ac off. With ac on, the car will vibrate very slightly but very tolerable. I went from solid mounts to oem mounts then to vibratechnics. Have been happy for 5 years without a problem. The rear one finally broke after going turbo but the others have held up fine.
Honestly, you’ll probably get what you put in. I constantly see people listing their Type S’s for 12-13k clapped or completely modded out. Clean examples on BAT or Cars and Bids sell for around 15 or more surprisingly
I have cash stacked to buy an FD RX7, but any time you post this thing it makes me want to throw another five figures at my Type-S instead. Personally I find this build much more relatable than something like a budget civic. Gotta keep the content diversified.
Sound like such conflicting Guilt👀. Tough decision because you’ve made it beautiful 👍. The Evo you have is a Museum peice and I’d be afraid to drive it thinking some nut job going to hit me. Is it possible subconsciously you’re thinking I need to sell the EVO. Certainly will recoup more $$$$. Money is what you need. 1 yr old daughter gonna need a lot things in th future 👀
Do you have a list of links/specific item names for everything in your build? Id love to take a peak and see what I could slap on my RSX. It's in tough shape and needs lots of love. Thanks for the great vids :)
I say that you should keep it is a nice example that you built and you put your twist on it i want a type s but i dont have the money for another car and my si is fill that spot for now my dad had a base rsx and i love it but it got totated but as seeing the last few rsx vids i say keep it even if its no worth with what you have in it, its not about money or for saying you have it the emotional connection with the car. One thing i will say your rsx vids do well so think of it that way.
Honestly I think you should just keep the car how it is. Don't add more stuff because it's not really necessary to. Just keep it clean like you always have. :)
Just gotta find one first 🥲 Decided I wanna go that route with mine and boy do they not pop up for sale very often. Could go with a Merc Racing one but that’s 5-6k and you could go Rotrex but then no A/C or Power steering which is an L in my book.
Anthony, you are going to regret selling a car like this. What you've put into this car is special, youre into it 13 grand, and youre clearly in love with it. Would you divorce your wife because you never intended on falling in love with her when you met her? No, it just happened. Keep the damn car and keep working on it.
I say keep it until it is totaled. You did a great job restoring it. You havent touched performance yet. Maybe get it up to 400hp and enjoy it. Make your decision after. It killed me selling my 03 5spd. I had it for 12 years. I was the 3rd owner and it was my first car. I miss it everyday. I got the 2024 Integra 6spd. So it feels close to it since the RSX is the last Integra before the new gen.
I would wrap it in PPF, keep it and daily it. You could still sell the EVO which would totally cover what you spent on the Integra Type S. I personally think the integra is a better car than the Evo, but I hate turbo chargers though

I second this. They're actual rubber so they dampen vibrations, still stiff enough to run a race header.
I think if you can put this up on bring a trailer or cars and bids you could get your asking price out of it.
You’re not wrong!

Honestly, I regret selling my 94 Integra and wish I could have it in my possession so I could do an Oem plus build. Love clean Oem plus builds!
Same here. Simple is best with these cars
Please keep it! I’ve sold so many cars I’ve ended up regretting in the end. You’d definitely regret this one
You're probably right, thanks for the advice!
I have cash stacked to buy an FD RX7, but any time you post this thing it makes me want to throw another five figures at my Type-S instead. Personally I find this build much more relatable than something like a budget civic. Gotta keep the content diversified.
Still buy the FD lol
@ALLDAYANTHONY I'm going to. Won't be able to justify it once I have kids.
Mugen makes the mounts you’re looking for. Slightly stiffer than OEM, not harsh.
Sound like such conflicting Guilt👀. Tough decision because you’ve made it beautiful 👍. The Evo you have is a Museum peice and I’d be afraid to drive it thinking some nut job going to hit me. I would def like to see a budget build or some type of build on a second gen Honda fit
Theres some good fit content out there, but I do love the idea of that
Keep it up bro❤
KEEP IT... I regret selling mine so very much.
I’ve heard good things about Vibratechnics engine mounts for OEM+ stuff
I installed them in my 05 Type S. Great upgrade, but prepare for NVH issues, especially in the winter.
@ What does NVH mean
@@AudiRSAvant noise-vibration-harshness. Improved the drivetrain feel, but it made an already raw car, extra rare 😅
I almost went that route, but I really didn’t want any more vibtrstion than needed. At least not on this car
@ALLDAYANTHONY It is noticeable. Takes away the jerkiness and slop, but you pay for it.
Don’t sell it, you will regret it. These are starting to get the love they deserve.
Do you have a list of links/specific item names for everything in your build? Id love to take a peak and see what I could slap on my RSX. It's in tough shape and needs lots of love.
Thanks for the great vids :)
working on one of these myself right now. one of the best cars honda ever made. you could definitely sell that for > $13k but don't
Haha! Not anytime soon
Keep it for a little longer so i have more time to save to buy it when you officially want to move onto the next build!
Haha deal!
True! Thanks for watching dude
Gotta get an s2k!!!! Would love to see those 9k rpms. AND how you would mod it!
Someday I’ll target my inner Johnny Tran
Same. I think I’m stuck with mine. It’s too good.
HES BACK
I AM!!
Honestly I think you should just keep the car how it is. Don't add more stuff because it's not really necessary to. Just keep it clean like you always have. :)
You might be right! 🤔
Supercharge it super oem pluss its perfectt
Just gotta find one first 🥲 Decided I wanna go that route with mine and boy do they not pop up for sale very often. Could go with a Merc Racing one but that’s 5-6k and you could go Rotrex but then no A/C or Power steering which is an L in my book.
You and I are in the exact same spot, except my rsx is white.😂
Not Anthony almost getting pulled over on video. xD
That was a close one.
I was stressed lol
You need the net Anthony you can get bolts and oem net bro
Do a 24/20 build with fbo
I wouldn’t sell it, keep it and enjoy it more we are here for the content 😎
fire
Thanks for watching dude
If i could…I’d do it like that too.
Keep it and start a new project and stick to the plan as a budget build
Next project will be more budget friendly for sure! I think…lol
Keep the rsx the updates made it look amazing. Sell the evo kidding 😊
DC2 or DC3 next build!
Keep it exactly as is
fbo k24 or keep the k20
How much would you sell it for? I'm in the market to buy one.
Keep it it’s beautiful
I think it's beautiful too!
try srt4 next
This car will only keep going up in value. The way you maintain it I think you will break even or make money
If you need money you need to remove the emotional attachment. If you love it keep it.
Anthony, you are going to regret selling a car like this. What you've put into this car is special, youre into it 13 grand, and youre clearly in love with it. turbo it
That seems like the logical answer
I swear he said All K Anthony... Lol
He did!
I may have said that 🙊
On Facebook marketplace I see Type S’s go for 8-15k so I’m sure you can get your asking price
You’re probably right!
Hybrid racing air fresheners! JDM scented
You'd be a fool to sell it. Keep modding and upgrading it , do a Hybrid short shifter and ppf the whole car with Mugen lip, side skirts & diffuser
Still torn on whether or not to run a lip
WoW ,Freaking Beautiful.......
Thanks! It's come a long way
Keeeeeeeeeep iiiiiiit!!!🔥
I say keep it until it is totaled. You did a great job restoring it. You havent touched performance yet. Maybe get it up to 400hp and enjoy it. Make your decision after.

You need a honda beat
Someday!
Do your civic duty and sell it for an ep3 hatch.
lol! That’s one of my lesser favorites to be honest. But I’m sure I could make it cool
keep it
next car should be a speed 3/6
Dam.... you need an armrest to complete it
Ahhh yes, the rare armrest!
Just do what i do, aspire to own a good amount of property in the future so you dont have to sell anything AND add on to your car collection 😅😅
I'm trying! Hahaha
Dump another 15k in that bih
If you dont wanna pay the the rsx tax a ep3 civic si is a cheaper choice.
I would wrap it in PPF, keep it and daily it. You could still sell the EVO which would totally cover what you spent on the Integra Type S. I personally think the integra is a better car than the Evo, but I hate turbo chargers though
