My daughter was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the tender age of 3, and upon the results of an endoscopy/colonoscopy was one of the top 5 worst colon cases they have ever seen at Seattle Children’s. You have managed to explain to me this lab results better than her GI specialist and nurses when she gets her infusion of Remicade. this is so gorgeous!!! idk how many other people have made it, but so far I've only seen this video and Bernadette's. I feel like there's some applicable trope about the pastel one and the goth one lol. Both are amazing, and I'm kinda glad you did a pastel one, since I was lowkey confused at some points in Bernadette's video because I couldn't actually see the details she was talking about. Like, I had no idea there was double piping all the way around lol. I also appreciated the tip about the excess fabric by the shoulder. I'll have to check that next time I make a fitted coat or something. Maybe someday I'll make a version of this myself, like if I ever get around to making my OTGW Beatrice cosplay (since she's pretty obviously regency)

    Love this. Glad I can support CIC by watching another incredible costumer's content. And that lesson on ESR cracked me up! Love when your degree/profession collides with your projects.
    AND OMG I loved every single outfit you put together with that spencer. Seriously. Absolutely gorgeous. If you weren't inside I'd add a parasol to your regency look to cap it off but I also just love parasols so that might just be a me thing 😁
    This spencer jacket and the AD cape might be the trendiest pieces of clothing this year. Why do I live in FL again where it's too hot and humid to wear either of these most of the year? 😂

    It's so great that you made it in a lighter color, in Bernadette's video I thought the pattern didn't have the leaf design at the shoulders because of the dark colour she chose. Great video!

    Omg thank you so much Christine. Or is is Cristine with out a h? Thank you for going in to detail on this! I found the instructions a little confusing at times when doing a read through!
    I love that you explained the medical version of rouleaux! 🤣 I had no idea that it had to do with stacks of red blood cells.
    I love all the looks you were able to make with this jacket! I think that has to be the most beautiful shade of pink!I am always inspired by you and your videos to make more historical clothing. I love that you use a machine and have great tips for doing fiddly stuff!
    I hope someday you can see it live! It's amazing! There are parts I always cry at as well! Honestly it's such a good musical!

    Why, oh why do people say Regency dresses look like nightgowns? Yours is gorgeous and the jacket is chef's kiss. So beautiful. I think it would work with gray or green, too. Or navy. Or brown. Such a pretty color.

    • @roadrunnercrazy
      @roadrunnercrazy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I find that, for me, it depends largely on the fabric print used as to whether or not it reminds me of a nightgown....especially when paired with a little white ruffled cap. This one definitely does not look like a nightgown. It is beautiful!😁

    Was a lot of fun to watch and I loved the double piping the most. I plan on doing my jacket in black when I get around that the planned projects that come first.
    One thing I've used over the years is a red iron on transfer pencil to trace whatever pattern and iron it on. Or I do an iron on that comes out white against a dark colored fabric. Do this using my printer to make the transfer. I find it easier for me.
