Re the coastal stygian paths, there is a mage called a Finman that you can obtain in Conj that has Stygian Guide 75 and can cast the national stygian paths for free using their Silver Boat (and because it's on an item, they can use it anywhere, not just from coasts). Nice to see someone playing good old Eriu. Eriu is one of my favorite nations: Lots of air magic and I can actually mass some troops for days when I'm not feeling like going all-in on insane blesses and 2-4 ponymen hit squads. Attacking and winning with basically zero troops in early game is fun, but also you're often only 1 bad fight away from total catastrophe. Eriu in comparison is also playable in elf relaxation mode, or ERM as I call it.
Always like seeing a big "10" in the pretender paths. That's some huge falling frosts and frozen hearts and I think it stacks with the breath of winter chill aura.
Eriu is TNN with 75% of the mages and some generic MA troops, so that makes sense. I'm glad that JBBM gives them more tools to play with, because Eriu needed them.
I have theorycrafted around the Trinity Morrigans. Adds 3 high D/S/A titans to your rooster,can singlehandedly open you into great astral + wailing winds etc pp. Expansion with them is possible but requires very special bless, like cheat fate/invulnerability but not great, even basic equipment for them takes too many gems. Probably best to do dormant.
People tend to avoid ma Eriu as they see the nation as...a weaker Tir na nog with nothing of interest added in. Dominions enhanced likewise rectified that.

Oh hell yeah Eriu. Probably my favorite underdog nation in vanilla, JBBM really changes it up.
