Great detailed reaction! I hope you'll go through and do all her Stripped songs - and maybe even some of her covers and live performances! Her vocal talent is stunning.
Her vibrato has an Arab touch because SHE IS ARAB, originally from Morocco. I would love to hear her sing in arabic. She would blow the roof down with that sensual and powerful voice of hers🥰
She’s sang in Arabic a few times. She’s got a song she collabed with someone that is fully in Arabic and then she did a version of Kelly Clarkson’s song I Dare You in Arabic too
She doesn't sing fully in Arabic but one of my favorite songs from her is a cover of desert rose by sting I believe but she sings the whole song even the Arabic parts and its hauntingly beautiful and I wish she would do a full cover and put it on her album.
Talking about the thrill and the vibrato, I just want to inform you that since she is of an Arab descent (she is a Moroccan Canadian) and grew up listening to Arab singers in her home and feeling their voices' resonances and was definitely practicing and singing their songs, she then easily cultivated those characteristics and she now so successfully blends them in her present music and renditions. She is amazing. With such a unique voice and that cultivated mind, she will certainly shine globally. Reactions accross the world to her fantastic singing are already spreading like fire. A Bravo to you Faouzia from a Moroccan American😍😍😍
This is your freakin noteeeee. I actual laughed. I love listening to you two so much! Also, Faouzia is unmatched, she is an amazing unicorn. I am so happy yall like her voice!
YAY!!!!! Thank you so much for reacting to Faouzia, I knew you guys would love her. I had the exact same reaction to her low notes, they absolutely blew me away. This is one of my favourites songs from her. The live performance of tears of gold (stripped) is insane so that's a must on the Faouzia list. Also thank you for explaining what a trill is I feel like I understand it a little better now.
At 11:54 when she singing it kinda reminded me of Arabic music (just the notes from what I’ve seen in movies/TV shows). I know she’s fluent in Arabic and actually did a Arabic-English version to one of her songs. But I loved her since she was making covers on Instagram

Faouzia is one of the three singers who stood out in my journey, the others are Yemi Alade and Loic Nottet. Finally the quality of the mongolian pop music really impressed me. (I already knew Dimash)

It's super interesting about the flexibility of the throat and ability to trill. One of the top comments said it had something to do with her Moroccan heritage and thinking about, the Vietnamese language that I speak is very throat centric (many tones so being able to make sound from your throat is key) and I've always had an easy time with trills and runs. I am thinking that whatever the Moroccan language is would be also very tonal.
Faouzia's voice and singing are amazing, but something else I would like to point out is that she plays the piano like that with really long nails. That just blows my mind!
