Amazing time piece. I’m 28 and bought my day date in July. It’s a 36mm yg with white face and gold Roman number dial. By far the prettiest style of watches around
@@bosbevok1539 Pleasure. Exceptional. I have a Rolex Datejust but it's nothing compared to your Day Date. I can honestly say it is one of the most stunning things I have ever seen.
Love it in rose gold with the pinstripe dial. I think this is what I would go for or white gold for stealth, I just find the yellow gold to loud. Awesome watch and still looks mint. Enjoy 😊
Thank you for being one of the few TH-camrs to post an extensive and in-depth look at the Rolex Day-Date. I too wish to own the Rolex Day-Date and currently have my eyes set on some of the older models with leather straps. That way, the cost is kept low at the start. After that, I'll work to acquire the Presidential bracelet! Your video certainly helps me get a great look at my available options and I'll definitely look back on this video once I finally have my dream watch. Much thanks once more, good sir! :)
Stunning work of art. Impeccable quality, and preeminent beauty in every detail. The rose-gold option is unique and elegant. I believe these particular models begin around $37,400 + (U.S. Currency.) - Update: 2020 The new retail for this watch is $39,200 U.S.
Hey mate! Nice watch and great dial choice. I have the diagonal motif chocolate dial with Rose Gold. How do you find the fluted bezel holding up? I find mine picks up tiny dings which I can see when the sun shines on it and it glints where the dents and scratches are. Do you find this happening also?
WRIST CANDY SHOP thanks for the feedback. I agree with you that in the tiny valleys within the flutes scratches accumulate. Probably just from rubbing against a shirt cuff etc. I can be a little OCD about it, but what are you gonna do?
@@bosbevok1539 Yeah I also agree on that. But I found the high ridges of those valleys get easily dented from who knows what! Probably should be more careful. Ill probably wear it and enjoy it and then get the bezel replaced and sell the old one for scrap gold. I doubt Rolex can melt it down and reshape it for me. its about $1800 though.
Wow! This looks amazing...I am in the market for a Day-Date and studying color combinations. Like you, I am not a big fan of roman numeral dials. This one is the closest I have found to my ideal choice! Thank you for sharing.
Arfan Hussain thanks for the question. It is holding up beautifully. I was wearing the GMT II LN, before I bought this about a year ago. It’s now the only watch that I wear. If I am going somewhere requiring a little harder use, hiking and touring etc, then I go back to the GMT.
@@bosbevok1539 that's really positive to hear. I've just purchased the anniversary version of this watch and was concerned about scratches in normal day to day wear. I don't do strenuous work but good to know I can enjoy the watch daily
@@bosbevok1539 yes the olive one. Going to get it sized tomorrow and hopefully order an XL link if they can't play around with it and get it right. 2 links out feels too tight and one link out feels too loose. Wish me luck!

Outstanding! How is the scratch resistance? Does it pick up a lot of scratches on the clasp for example?
Hi GDF, I won’t lie, it does scratch but not terrible. Usually if you brush up against a hard surface.
