That’s Murs on the intro & outro and his vocal sample “I’m the baddest motherfucker touching down on kick drums”

Great reaction and commentary to a great and massively underrated artist. Reminds me of NF several years ago only much more subtle and intricate. 🩸🗝😎

Hey man, I always check your reactions to the big A.R. But sometimes i wonder what you listen to when driving or doing laundry or whatever. What stops you from checking his music in your spare time off camera? Seems like you really appreciate this fellas artistry. I often wonder if you avoid listening to his albums so that your videos can come off as more of a genuine authentic reaction. I’m seriously asking because I’ve been watching your vids for a decent amount of time now and I think you’d really enjoy this fellas deep cuts that most Aesop Rock heads don’t know about. I don’t really understand TH-cam creators or the whole monetization thing, I’m just a regular fella trying to comprehend why you’ve never busted out an Aesop album while driving

There's a couple of answers to your question. For one, music was digital by the time I was old enough to buy it, so I never got in the habit of listening to full albums. Two, my commitment to the channel and ya'll is also why I only listen to his tracks I've heard before in my spare time. Three, I have about 90 reactions to Aes up right now, 90 tracks is more than enough to filter through my playlist and give me an Aes fix between reactions.

Bazooka Tooth is a pretty great album, but it is also my least favorite work of his, outside of maybe a few tracks on there.
I always thought this was the first album that he self-produced for over 75% of the project, but it seems that Appleseed, from 1998, is actually the first time he did that.
But I do know that this album was the first time he went out and bought a PC and got Pro Tools to produce it, instead of just using analog drum machines and samplers.

I agree with you 💯 Aesop is one my favorite lyricist ever, and I do enjoy all his projects…BUT this project is easily my least favorite of all his projects, I just truly can’t get into it and it definitely has to do with his production on this project. I wonder if that is why he did “Build Your Own Bazooka Tooth” to allow others to lay their productions over his lyrics.
