Meghalaya is one of my favourite destinations in the Northeast, it's very clean, Khasi people are very hospitable.. Laitlum, Nonkhailika, Mawlynnong, Dawki are all amazing places to be.
Our Northeast have people with Mongoloid genes and hence they say that you look like Manipuri. ❤ The whole world is a small village, if we trace back our roots enough, we are the same people all around the world.
Northeast became a part of India only after the Independence from the British. Before the 1947 this was a separate small kingdoms. Assam was under Ahom Kingdom and the king of Ahom was a Thai in origin.
When I saw the Thumbnail I thought she's Naga but when I open video she's not Naga she's from Korea look how similar they are Naga manipuri Mizo they're all similar

It's just my oldest one mentally to plan everything such that the rest can enjoy but it often means not enough time for my nerdy/geeky self to to check the places out in detail.

Beautiful vlog. Amazing trek, untouched nature and countryside. Though I lived in India for a long time, visit India every year and been to all of South India, unfortunately I have never been to the North East yet. 🙂

Although I was born and raised in the US, as a kid when my parents took me back to our family's ancestral village in the Indian Himalayas (the village consisted of 7 houses in the middle of nowhere), I also went on similar hikes and adventures in the midst of stunning scenery. Now that I live in the Seattle area, I take advantage of the beautiful hikes in Washington State which are also amazing. .
Come again in Meghalaya you will see most amazing place of Garo hills ❤ the wonders Wari Chora canyon, Natural Fish sanctuary,Balpakram National Park,Siju cave the longest cave in Asia,and lots more in Garo hills only.

I love your positive energy. i spent 3 months hiking thorough meghalaya and staying in the heart of its remote villages back when i was 16 and you embody the same spirit of pure joyful curiousity, of confronting your fears, of discovering wonder at every turn with which I explored the entire north east, and all of India and the US. Thank you for this :) What did you think of the place and the people? The more I travel, the more Ludwig Wittingtein's statement "I was expecting a surprise, but I didnt get one, which surprised me." makes sense to me, because although we are all unique and diverse, it is so easy to connect with people of different backgrounds from all over the world.and see the beauty in the common threads that link us all.
