Needed a sewing chair and had been looking at various chairs but mostly office chairs. However I noticed in some of the sewing shows and you tube videos I kept seeing this chair and finally found it on Amazon but was reluctant because of the price. When I saw the Sew Yeah staff rolling around on theirs and when they went to the warehouse I was sold. I ordered it that night, it came about a week later and now I’m happier when I’m at my machine. I ❤my chair, thank you SewYeah.

That’s my chair! ❤ Pro Tip#2: before assembly order a set of rubber wheels (inline skate wheels for chairs). Put them on in place of the provided casters to save your wooden floors. Warning: these wheels have less resistance, therefore the chair rolls away from you when you stand up. Hang onto your chair when sitting down so you don’t plop on the floor instead.

I just bought my chair today, and was concerned about the wheels sending me sailing, as did my previous chair, but this one didn't. It stays put firmly when I sit down and doesn't move until I deliberately move my feet to roll to another area of the room. I absolutely love the back support...keeps me sitting straight up but very comfortably!

I love my Arrow chair. I bought the one that is black with the buttons. I really didn't think I would be able to put it together. But it really is very EASY! And they are very comfy. 😃

How on earth where you able to afford buying 3 of these? I will admit I am jealous! I can't even have one! Lol!
@@glorygracek.1841 I searched a long time before I found the one I originally bought. Then I had to buy two more for the other sewing stations I have in my house. I cleaned out my savings, but I'll tell you that it was for sure worth it. Not only do I love sitting in those chairs, so do the rest of my family...arguing begins when they all arrive. It is one splurge I do not regret and the longer I have them, the better I like them.

If you're like me, you have more fabric than you could use in a year or two! I finally bought this chair, and absolutely love it...its an investment that you won't regret...unlike some fabrics!

I really wanted to love this chair. The problem I have is that the back sits too far forward making it difficult to get my bottom all the way back on the seat cushion. Plus it's hard to open the seat as the seat cushion rubs against the back cushion. Maybe I put it together wrong???

Hello! I don't know if you will answer, but I don't know where to ask.
Is it OK to use a extension cord with a iron, like if it's a construction grade one or one that has the thick round cord like what's on the iron as opposed to the thin flat kind?
I have a very small 2nd story room in a old farmhouse that is our guest room, so it has low angled ceiling for most of the room and has a full bed filling most of it. But there is room for a folding table that I bought. (Very sturdy made out of metal, but kinda high).
And I will either have to get a over the door ironing board, and that's what the cord would be for, or I will have to use a small table top one that will be on a old dresser. Now I used to do the later in my room at my old house. But that small space was not fun to use.
Anyway, what would you suggest?

Teancum, is there a good chair for a short (5ft 0 tall women) that you would recommend? In reality table heights are usually my problem but man…I cannot find a good chair and have been buying cheap office chairs to sew in my whole life. Would like to invest in a good chair that fits me. What do your short customers and short employees like?
Have you tried these Arrow Sewing Chairs? They're very adjustable, and extremely comfortable to work in for long periods of time. Our lead Pattern Maker is very short, and she uses the Arrow Sewing Chair at home AND at work. It's designed great and will fit your needs very well, and it's so comfortable to use for a long time. Yes, they're expensive comparable to office chairs, but they do not compare in regards to quality and comfort. This chair will last!

I have one of those chairs and I’m not as impressed as everyone else seems to be. I had to add a 2x4 to the back of the seat so it would move the back away from the front of the chair. Those chairs are way overpriced in my book. My Amazon special gaming chair is more comfortable than my Arrow sewing chair.

What do you mean by moving the back away the the front? I don't have one, so I don't know what that means. Just curious.
Bad chair. Bad, bad, bad chair. I ordered one online before trying it out, and as soon as it was assembled and I sat down in it, I regretted my purchase. The front of the chair cut off the circulation behind my knees within the first 30 seconds, accompanied by pain. The pain got worse when I raised the chair (I'm short), which meant my legs were more at an angle towards the floor. My husband and I had fallen in love with the fabric pattern (Sew Now Sew Wow) and ordered it along with a new sewing machine, but this was an instant no-way. Return shipping cost me over $80 --- NEVER doing that again.

Interesting tip, might have to do that. Expense would be less than special mats I would think
