Great Video... if your serious about your own start up, get a pen and paper because this video is start up 101. You did a great job summing the info up clearly and straight to the point!
Man I love your channel and content. I’ve done Christmas lights for 8 years. 3 for a guy and 5 for myself, but this year I started an llc, got the insurance and all that and did pretty well. I used to be a mover and I don’t want to go back to it so now I’m looking at taking my profit money from the Xmas light business and want to get into the soft washing of roofs and pressure washing. I can’t thank you enough for all your knowledge and would love to connect more. Zach with Hang Tight, Xmas light installers out of Orange County California

@@Ramon-cp2ej yea Its definitely probably 800 to 3000 to even start the policy. I started a trucking company last year and had to cough up 2500 upfront 😒😒
The 1099-K rule has a lot of people panicking but it’s honestly not that bad if they approach it correctly. Great job covering some of the backend basics!!
Great info Jason. If you are just going to be sole proprietorship with no employees u don't need to get a EIN. Use your social security number on taxes.
What if I’m going to start just doing pressure washing/soft washing during the weekends for now just to pay off my apprenticeship off. They say you don’t need an LLC right away unless you start doing it full time since not a lot of people can afford the insurance an LLC since they need money an jobs first. I would say get couple jobs make sure you can stay in business then get an LLC an insurance right? What if you get it an can’t afford since you have no jobs.
You can absolutely start a business without it. It's just a good idea to have it so if something happens they don't see you personally and take any assets that you may have.
Im new to the business and the city storm drain guys and county were saying no SH down drain. Was this a challenge for you being that is a major cleaning agent? Some advice would be great THX love the channel

I'm useing pool essentials 10% bleach not 12.5 please help got 2 jobs coming up this week been regular washing but new to softwash
Good video. I have a rather direct question, if I may...if pressure washing were such a profitable business, why are so many on TH-cam? Especially if you risk creating competition in your area?
What are thoughts on starting a pressure washer business in the Midwest? I’m on the south side of Chicago. From nov-April we can be fighting the elements.
I can show you a lot of people making them. One in Florida one in Georgia one in Illinois one in Virginia and that's just the start of them bunch of these people have been on my other videos

How long does a roof wash last the customer? How many square feet does a gallon of SH cover on a roof?
Depends on your location. Here in Cincinnati it would last 4-7 years. It takes about 25 gallons of mix to do a 2500 square foot house
Man, I love you positive energy. I really enjoy your input. Great info.
Thanks for watching

When you say insurance will cost between $800-$2000 is that per month? Or per year?
Per year
Ive been getting quotes all over and insurance companies want between $9,000-$12,000 per year. Not sure what im doing wrong.
Yeah mine is like $550 a month is what they want

Insurance seems to be 500 a month everywhere and like $1100 up front. It’s insane for starting out
This is the exact video I needed, Im so anxious to start that I hadn't thought about everything to do before I just bought a washer and started
Just do it man

Great video! But I need some help. Do you need a vendors lisence and a business permit/lisence? I live in Cincinnati.
I don't think you need a vendors license. You probably do need a license from the city.

Passive income. Making Informative videos about a topic you are knowledgeable about creates extra income with very little effort.
Hi Jason, in your experience, what's the best way to get hot water from a cleaning truck to the top of a building at flow rate of 21L/m at 1500psi?
Hot water machine
