Next, the movement is accurate to +10 sec per YEAR! (its a new one for this watch). So that was pretty cool to see! Anyway, nice to see Marathon making progress here!
Supplemental information… plus/minus 10 seconds per year. This model also exhibits a date complication - a first for any Steel Navigator since the design’s initial launch in the 1980’s. The SSNAV-D is built from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with a screw-down crown and synthetic sapphire crystal, making it operational even when submerged to 10ATM (100m/300ft). ETA F06.412 HeavyDrive-PreciDrive Quartz w/ Date features an accuracy of ± 10s/year, operating at 32’768 Hz. This is made possible by the combination of ETA’s venerable quartz technology, as well as customizations specifically for Marathon. The refreshed case design features enhanced lug tapering, providing a comfortable fit making the SSNAV-D ideal for all-day wear. The increased height of the 12HR GMT bezel is specially designed to provide improved grip, allowing pilots to easily handle the bi-directional rotation while wearing flight gloves. I like the piano lounge music. I can see myself sipping an oldfashionned, sitting at the hotel's bar with my navigator steel to my wrist after a long fligh. 😄
MWC has several U.S MIL-PRF-46374G specification in both automatic and quartz (Swiss Ronda 715li with 10 year battery life). Two versions of tritium (mb-microtec same as marathon) and or C3 lume options. Mine have been reliable and extremely durable. *Priced from $343, $368, and $455 respectively.
From what I have seen, and I owned two of their other watches, none of their watches index properly on the second hand. Not sure why such a high speed low drag company cannot get that right.
I will not disagree how nice the watch is..... But what evidence are you basing it upon that it is rigously tested for robustness? Tritium tubes are in my experience with marathon are not renowned to be able to sit in place upon the hands if the watch takes a knock or even a waist high fall

Is that bezel steel or plastic?
This also is the only watch that I have bought that changes the dates exactly upon the second-hand strike in the 12 at midnight
You said 'miliary' about 13 times, but is the crown TUBE replaceable AND does it screw into the case or is it cheaply pressed in??

I have the MWC with the Ronda movement and tritium dials, great watch for the money. I also have a Marathon automatic that was much more expensive.
The second hand does not advance accurately. What’s with that?

I’ve personally held one (as a private ad) and the seconds hand does in fact index in-line. I think the camera angle is affecting the accuracy.
