The handles on the wings look reallllllly good. That is a MUST in my next wing. I'm on Armstrong right now, handles are comfortable to hold but having a wider area to grab just makes so much sense.
I have 1850R and HA1450 (the wind is not great where I lived) Thinking about getting HA1250. Do you think I will take off in 12knots wind? My weight is 76kg.
Well I can tell you this..... The one I rode was a prototype. The name won't be Race. It has some fancy new tech. Less power per size than the Nova and more technical to ride. Higher performance and more pop.
Matt this is a great informative video. I ride now the 1850r with standard stab and thinking about getting the MA1350 to progress and have a bit more glide when jibing. Do you think it makes sense to pair the MA1350 with a 320 stab to make it more user friendly? I am 200lbs beginner
Hi Stefano, I'm a 210lb beginner, so had a question about the front wing you ride now. Is the 1850r something that you started learning on? I'd been hearing how they suggest to go to at least 2000sq.cm wings for heavier beginners.
@@raghuram2815 2200cm much better in my view. I have both and when learning, and even now with lighter wind, 2200 is much better than 1850 in my opinion. Then for stronger wind the 1350 MA is a great option. Much easier to learn jibes on
Looks like a cuben fibre strut and their racing spinnaker material for the canopy. The windows look novel, and are clearly sized to minimize airfoil impact. I was dreaming of a 3di canopy, but I cant imagine how much that would cost. There is a unique radial pattern that differs from what we are seeing from other manufacturers. Rigid battens were somewhat surprising. I would have loved ot hear the engineering trade offs between the race and the standard nova v2.
That review will come in time one we have finals of both. This is a proto and won't be called the Race. I hear you about the 3DL wing. That would be sick.
Hi😊 Two questions 1. Is the sonar system is also compatible with other boards like fanatic or duotone sky wing etc or does it not work well? 2. Which mast, carbon or aluminium is recommended for a heavy rider with ca 115 kgs ? Thx!

Absolute love the 1500R and the 1250HA from North. That 1050MA looks just the treat to fit right in

@@EkapolTharasiriroj Yes, im 84Kgs and use this in those winds on my 77L.
I think its time to give your viewers some wing info on the nova race wing Matt…
Really appreciate your reviews so thank you

👀 Single strut North kite...
Coming out this summer. Works fun for foiling and on shore waves.
