Imagine this occurring in 2019. Fans would go beyond ballistic lmao
Now people are bitching if Cup drivers even run a few races. Just be fucking happy you weren't around during the late 2000's & early 2010's, or that we don't have to see that maybe ever again
jeffgordonfan2462 I think 2006-2008 was the peak of it. Every week you would see Edwards, Biffle, or Kenseth in 2 or sometimes 3 Roush cars, Burton, Bowyer, or Harvick in a RCR car, Busch in the 5 or 18, and then guys like Kahne, Mears that did it part time.
@@allabouthewaves4354 2006 was the major peak imo when you literally had 20+ Cup drivers do double duty at places Busch & Cup race at on Saturday & Sunday
jeffgordonfan2462 I felt like most drivers did it to gain an advantage on track before the Gen 5 car came around in 08.
@@allabouthewaves4354 Yeah
The Busch Series was a hint of the future!
What In Carnation? How so? He only has half of a title in MENCS.
@@ShotgunDolphin no it says 1 title on the trophy even if he did half the races
@@ShotgunDolphin *2 championships
By the time it takes you to watch this video, Kyle Busch has won 10 Truck races and 8 Xfinity series races
well, holy sh-
And 3 cup wins
And a championship
Here's what I think about Cup Drivers racing in lower series. Yes, it can be frustrating seeing them beating series regulars almost every week but it can also give younger Regulars a taste of what the Cup Series will be like.
It also gives the Cup teams a chance to see if the rookies can match the regulars. Winning a truck/xfinity championship shows a level of consistency and speed but matching and beating the Cup guys shows raw pace. There's been champions in the lower series that were great but couldn't up their raw pace when going to Cup and those are more exposed nowadays.
lol a taste for what? if they are good, they'll go up to cup.. to face them... that's a weak cop out... Maybe if they had a true all star race with cup, xfinity, and truck winners... that would be a better taste
Championship Xfinity seasons: 2010 Brad Keselowski. Roger Penske's first title in any NASCAR series
In 2010, Brad K. was underrated.
In 2019, Brad K. is underappreciated.
Championship Seasons: Kevin Harvick 2006
Won the Busch championship by over 800 points and beat quality cup drivers while doing so.
I went to that Gateway race he won, I ate nachos during qualifying, got a stomach ache, left early, and threw up as soon as I got home
Pretty fitting really
😂😂😂😂😂😂
In the point standings for 2008 and 2009 for the Nationwide series, If we discount the Regualr Cup drivers, Mike Bliss and Jason Leffler would be the 2008 and 2009 Nationwide series champions respectively. Damn, the past is weird man
What about Brad Keselowski in 2009?
Championship Season: Chris Buescher 2015 or Johnny Benson 2008
What makes Kyle Busch good is what makes everyone hate him. That’s why he’s a good driver and that’s why he now has 200 total wins.
I can almost guarantee that Kyle later in his career will run a full truck series schedule so he can win a title there.
Fun Fact: From 2008 to 2011, Kyle Busch averaged 10 wins a season in the Xfinity series (40 total). Just shows how incredibly dominant Cup drivers were back then.
they still are but can run only 7 races
@@unsolve9162 yes, but its nothing compared to pre-2016
Personally, it's not just Kyle Busch that was leeching in Nationwdie back in the 2006-2010 era before NASCAR put a rule restricting the cup drivers from running for the nationwide championship. It was also Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski winning a ton of races between them as well, not leaving many for the series regulars/rookies to win. Logano and Keselowski did win races against those guys as series regulars, but then they became cup guys in nationwide once they graduated into Cup.
This was confusing until I realized it was a Nationwide video.
nationwide is on kyles side
Do Harvick’s 2006 championship please. Talk about domination. He only failed to complete One Lap the whole year and even that was a top 10.
lol
Those were the days and oh yeah, Marty Reid was there too!
Kyle Busch: the King Leech
ShotgunDolphin wah wah wah
Nashville was probably the worst victory lane celebration I ever saw. (RIP Sam Bass)
Just fyi: he talked to Sam Bass before the race to make sure he was okay with that celebration. Sam was all for it. And Rowdy gave the broken pieces to all of the crew guys.
@@arwyss Yeah, still doesn't change my opinion, though.
@@GreenDeathFlavor that's fair. I remember being really put off when I saw it live.
Request championship season Kyle busch 2015
Bad seasons: Kyle Busch, 2012
NASCAR BUSTS: REED SORENSEN, JUSTIN LABONTE
I've always liked the late 2000's era of the Xfinity Series. Gen 4 cars, tracks like Gateway, Montreal, Mexico City, a night time Auto Club, and Memphis, and drivers like Allgaier, Sorenson, and Leffler. The one thing that kills it all is the leeches.
He fact you made this during his 2nd cup series championship season is awesome
All those who complain about Kyle Busch dominating are just whine bags. He's a race car driver and he just was doing what he was paid to do and what he loves to do. I loved the 🎸 smash. Now he's a two-time cup champion. And the greatest of all time. And hopefully one day as he gets older he will go back to the truck series and be the first driver to win all three championships.
As dominant as 2009 was for Kyle, his 2010 was even better. His decision to not run the full schedule was the only reason he didn’t win it again.
In 35 races for 2009, Kyle led 2600+ laps and won 9 races. In 2010, he led 2200+ laps in just 29 races and won 13 times.
Hey early this is gonna be good your videos always are
He will always be my favorite driver
That was an amazing year for Rowdy Nation, I remember it like it was yesterday...
*GOAT*
I love the video, but I love the use of I Am The Greatest even more, you got good taste
Ahhhhhhhh the good ol’ days!
Bad seasons: Jeff Gordon 2012
‘Twas a great year to be a Kyle Busch fan at least in nationwide
god the 2008-10 nationwide cars are so cool basically looks like a better super late model. idk if they used the same cars in 2007 as well because i know they changed something with i believe it was the wheel base or something along those lines
Since NASCAR was going to the Cot of Bationwide in 2010, They were slightly looser with the tweaking of the Gen 4 Body.
Jacob Allen wants to know- Nah, jk. Our formats are different. Nice video man.
How many miles do you have to drive to win twice in the same day.... what a legend
Deserved it more than the season he won it
i was there when he smashed the guitar. everyone in the stands booed😂😂
I’m more impressed at the fact that the 60 ran up front at one point, then again it actually had good drivers driving back than
You mean good luck right
To become the best you have to beat the best.
Bruh Harvick (and Edwards) ruined the series in 2006. Kyle just followed in the footsteps of Harvick, who also kept running lots of xfinity races all the way until the last couple years, just like kyle
Buschwacker
No u
@@toyotafan7881 Wow big comeback
Now if 10 years from 2019 brexton busch wins the truck championship that would be some extra saucy numbers to digest (wait how old is brexton?)
I'm not a Busch fan but his haters almost make me one. Almost lol
Championship Seasons: William Byron 2017
Just imagine how many Xfinity titles he would have had he continued running full time
Like 10 lmao
He could have easily had 21-22 wins in 2009 incredible
black flag lives matter i think you are awesome
With how often he won it’s kind of disappointing they only gave him one championship. He should’ve won multiple titles if you ask me with how dominant he was in the series.
He has tons of talent and you’ll never see a driver with that kind of dominance for a long time to come.
NASHVILLE WAS SUCH A GOO TRACK
*102 wins lmaooo
It’s a shame he destroyed that guitar. RIP Sam Bass.
Sam was fine with Kyle smashing the guitar and made him a second one. Just Kyle trying to be a rock star
Championship Seasons: Ricky stenhouse jr 2011 and 2012
A lot of people forget that Stenhouse is a champion.
Interesting Fact Kyle won the 2009 Xfinity Championship but didn’t make the 2009 Chase.
And he didn't make it by eight points. To who? Brian Vickers, who had the single worst 10 race chase of anyone until Chris Buescher came along.
Hey, can you talk about Ryan sieg?
Do Dale Earnhardt 1990 championship season 😸
3:18 Welp I think I know what my next right now video will be
Busch's two titles: As a Cup leech in Xfinity, and racing 2/3rds of a season in Cup
I was at that 2009 NH race.....all the races I've ever been to, KB has won...
Also it downpoured 5 minutes after that win..
Kyle Busch is best driver in nascar today era
have you heard of jimmie johnson, jeff gordon, tony stewart, or dale sr?
@@unsolve9162 Jimmy Johnson's days are over. The other driver you mentioned don't race anymore or are dead. If you read the comment it says "today's era"
Yes have i watched jeff gordan win back in 2004 and 2005 and jimmie Johnson isnt that Good anymore

I would be okay with him being in xfinity if he started 5 laps down with no eligibility for wave around. And driving for MBM
It was fucked up how kyle smashed that autographed guitar by sam bass. Hes a great driver, just hard to respect him.
But Sam was fine with it and made him a second one lol
That was funny Kyle is a rock star
You forgot to mention how his ego goes up everytime he wins. By 2020 he is gonna be more ego than kyle
KFB
Kyyyyyyyyle BUSH
Nascar busts William byron
First
I just don't find his 200 wins thing that impressive when I remember who he's been competing with all of these years.
You have Kyle who has been racing in trucks since the early 2000's, Xfinity since the early to mid 2000's, and cup since the mid to late 2000's. And he's competing with the likes of Brandon Jones, Michael Annet, Cole Custer, and the biggest and probably the only competition he has anymore, Christopher Bell
While in trucks you got Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton who are the two veterans of trucks and the only other driver I would consider a threat to Kyle would be Brett Moffitt
The point is, obviously he's going to dominate and win because the odds weigh heavily in his favor because he has more experience. To me it's not that exciting considering racing in the Xfinity and Truck series is nothing to him
crashthehedgehog91 people forget some of the most dominant years for Kyle is when half the cup field would run Xfinity every week. I think people get mad because Kyle was just too good at racking up lower series wins.
@@mtejada10 that's true, there was more of a significant cup appearance in the era of the Busch/Nationwide series, but nowadays the cup competition is scarce. Thus loosing its significance. I bring up the truck series for that reason too, him, keslowski, and Harvick where the only three cup drivers to have a significant appearance in the truck series, and the only reason was because they had teams, now BKR and KHI is gone leaving Kyle to take more glory and add to his 200 wins. Now if you are excited about this, I'm cool with that, but I'm not because I don't think it's that impressive on a competition scale
crashthehedgehog91 it’s getting more scarce but there are still a number of Cup backed teams and guys who had significant cup experience Such as Allgaier, Sadler, etc.
IMO Kyle can run as much trucks as he wants. It’s possible there is no truck series without his involvement as an owner. Think of how much worse the cup field would be without KBM
@@mtejada10 I never had problems with him as owner, he's a fantastic team owner and KBM is a really good team. The point I was making was that when he drives the 18 or the 51 for his team and just dominates the field, that's when I don't get excited because like I said, there isnt anything at stake for him nowadays. I respect his cup success and his success as a team owner, but when he starts driving in the lower series, especially when he's the only cup driver there anymore, does he really have a lot to loose?
Its called busch whacker
I still want to punch Kyle Busch for what he did at Nashville
him winning in a lower series with the best car and team isn't impressive. just doing it to pad his stats and his ego which is already bigger then the sea.
I'm not so sure about that. You couldn't just put any one in that car and they'd win this many times.
LEECH
not really something to be proud of
