0:13 *CLANGS* Bob Barker: Oh, one of you is exactly right! And the person who was exactly right gets a $500 bonus! And that $500 bonus goes to the one of you who bid... 0:26 Barker: $1,350. Laureen is the winner! Come on up here and play our first pricing game of the day. 0:41 Barker: Hello, Laureen, welcome to the stage. Here's your $500. You've got that, but OH, we have some more good news for you, don't we, Rich? 0:55 Rich Fields: Sure do. Hey, Laureen, guess what, YOU'RE GONNA PLAY PLINKO FOR A CHANCE TO WIN UP TO $50,000! 1:05 Barker: Yes, $50,000! Let's go right back here to the Plinko board. 1:12 Barker: Here's a Plinko chip with which you can win as much as $10,000. Now, I'm gonna give you a chance to win 4 more chips and 4 prizes starting with what, Rich? (1:39 for the prizes) 2:49 Barker: You got them all. Let's go right over here, the lovely Rachel's gonna give you those 4 chips to go with the one you have. Now, go up those stairs and win some money! 3:08 Barker: Now, one at a time, place the chip flat against the board and let it go. Here's the $10,000 slot in the middle. Drop the first chip when you're ready, Laureen. (3:18 for the chip drops) 4:21 Barker: You've won $12,500 on Plinko. Come on down, Laureen! A nice way to start the show. Congratulations. We'll have another game after this message. (SPOILER) Not a bad start to the show! $13,000 ($12,500 on Plinko + $500 perfect bid bonus) & a laptop for Laureen!
Even the model is happy for her. This isn't "The Price Is Right" I remember under Bob Barker. I am not down on Bob. If the show was to succeed under Drew as host it had to evolve and change slightly.
Nope. The best I've seen is $31,500 in season 45 (which was TIED in season 51). And before this, the record was $30,100 back in season 36. But back when $25,000 was the top amount with $5,000 being the center value, I believe there is a picture in the 1990s of someone getting 4 chips in the center then the last chip being $1,000 for a total of $21,000, although, we don't know if that's real or not.
Plinko is by far my favorite Price is Right game
Isn't it everyone's, though?
I like this show very much
Same here.
0:54, “It’s a great present Laureen because you, are gonna play Plinko!!” “For a chance to win up to $50,000!” Love Plinko
Congratulations for the past. But now seeing this 08/2023yrs.
Wow. You are so fire

I like that game, I'm smart enough for it. :)
SMART has nothing to do with it! The CHIP just slides wherever it wants to go.
@@richardsimpson3136 For the pricing portion, yeah, being smart is good. For the chips... just gotta get lucky.
She really won $13,000 cause she won the $500 bucks in the beginning!
I'd say that's not a bad day. $13,000 cash + a laptop.
She didn’t know how to play. Amazing

It's one part knowledge of prices, one part luck.
It's money you didn't have before, take it!!!!!!!!
Uh, this isn't a risk game.
Wow
Laureen bid on the nose and earned $500 on stage!! LOL
And won $12,500 on Plinko for a total of $13,000.

I LOVE The MODELS they have on here!
Don't we all, Vicki...

Agreed.
$12,500. Ain’t bad
I agree with you! $13,000 when you add the $500 she got for that perfect bid.
@@JonesDylan874 That is a lot of bucks compared to before coming to the show.
Has anyone won 50,000 on this Plinko game?
